Experience Sharing Among Dafa Practitioners

Righteous thoughts have helped me endure many years of persecution. After July 1999, people from the "610 office"* searched my home, extorted money from me, and kept me under long term supervision several times under the pretext that I owned Dafa books and had gone to Beijing to appeal. Police officers came to my door in the middle of the night to harass both my child and me. They also forced me to quit my job. At around 7 p.m. one night in January 2003, police illegally detained me for four and a half months with the excuse that I had mailed Dafa truth clarification materials to people in my hometown. During my detention, police officers interrogated me three times. Each time I recited the formulas for righteous thoughts in my mind and asked Teacher to empower me and to help me maintain a righteous mind, leaving no loopholes. Each time, they could not get anything from me, and had to stop the interrogations after only a few minutes. In early June I was released with the help of my relatives.

*The 610 Office is an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political or judicial systems.

The Truth of Dafa and the Changes in People's Hearts

Mother-in-law is resuscitated from near death to being alive and well: Ever since we started practicing Falun Gong, my wife's parents have been against us. Not long ago, my wife's father fell seriously ill. With patience, I asked him to remember that "Falun Dafa is good," but he did not listen to me, and died shortly thereafter. In May 2003, my wife's mother also got a serious disease. When I went to the hospital to see her, she was on the verge of death. I talked to her and asked her to recite "Falun Dafa is good," and she immediately woke up. She said that she saw her husband approach her to welcome her, and she became scared and shouted in her heart: "Master Li Hongzhi, please save me!" Right after she shouted this, Master Li did indeed come. Master Li's head radiated with a golden halo. After this experience, she said: "I now believe in Falun Dafa." After listening to her story, my wife's sister also thought that Dafa is miraculous and began practicing. Other family members have also come to believe in Dafa.

My experience: My parents started practicing Falun Dafa in July 1994. After July 1999, while facing heavy pressure from the persecution, they clarified the truth about Dafa to many people. My mother was illegally sentenced to one and a half years at the Baimalong Women's Forced Labor Camp in Zhuzhou City, Hunan Province, and my father was detained as well. Despite enduring torture from the wicked police officers, they refused to give up their belief in Dafa. In my mind, I knew Falun Dafa is great and precious, but for various reasons I did not practice Dafa. On April 30, 2003, I suffered from tuberculosis pleurisy, which led to the accumulation of fluids in my chest, and I was hospitalized. During that period, doctors drained fluids from my chest many times, and I was in great pain. My mother persuaded me to practice Falun Gong. Under this circumstance, I insisted that I leave the hospital early, and I began practicing Falun Dafa. Only two days later, my breathing became much easier, and within a week I went back to normal. Twenty days later, a physical exam revealed that I no longer had any health problems. Now I study Dafa and do Dafa exercises every day, and my health is getting better and better. Many friends and relatives bore witness to these unbelievable changes.
