My Understanding of Using the Lawsuit against Jiang to Clarify the Truth

As Dafa practitioners, if we are not concerned with this issue ourselves, how can we expect the world's people to care about it? Although people ultimately choose their own course and position themselves, the evils' lies, the maze of the human world and many other factors will interfere with them and may misdirect their decision. We should hold compassion in our hearts and help them clear away the evil interference. Through clarifying the truth, we can help them find their clear-minded side that knows the truth so they can make their choice after learning the facts.

On October 18, 2002, individual plaintiffs filed a class action lawsuit in United States District Court of the Northern District of Illinois, Eastern Division against Jiang Zemin, formerly the dictator of China, and against the Falun Gong Control Office ("Office 610"). The lawsuit was filed on behalf of the Falun Gong practitioners in China and in the United States. For specific causes of action. Pleaded in the complaint are torture and genocide. Also included in the charges is the conspiracy to commit violations of civil rights within the jurisdiction of the U.S.
