Elderly Dafa Disciples' Experiences in Truth Clarification

1) Once my daughter and I talked over the phone with a college student. We told him the details about China hiding the truth about SARS and mentioned the truth of the persecution of Falun Gong, the lawsuit against Jiang, etc. He listened very carefully and asked questions from time to time. In the end I told him that he should know in his heart that Falun Gong is good. He said that he understood that Falun Gong is good. Later I received an email from him, saying: "Today I feel really different hearing you talking about Falun Gong. I did not know it (meaning Jiang) is so dark! I am very sympathetic to your feelings!"

2) Several months ago I met a girl. She started cursing once I mentioned Falun Gong. When I said one sentence she would reply with a series of curses. I talked back: "I am clarifying the truth to you for your sake. You are so unreasonable. I do not want to talk to you any more." Later on my daughter said that my xinxing was not good. I regretted it, but I could not find her any more. When my xinxing was rectified, to my surprise, she sent me Christmas greetings at Christmas time! I at once apologized to her, saying: "I feel very sorry that I did not behave according to Master's teachings. My daughter criticized me, saying that I was not kind to you even though I have been practicing Falun Gong for so many years. It is really not your fault as you are misled. Can I send you some truth- clarification materials?" She answered: "Yes, send them to me."

Truth and People's Mind

A farmer who is a Falun Gong practitioner went to the field. The farmer of the nearby melon farm walked by. The Falun Gong practitioner told him about the self-immolation case in Tiananmen which slanders Falun Gong, and about the benefits he got from cultivation. He said: "Falun Gong is so good, I will practice too." He then followed the practitioner and learned the fifth exercise. He said: "After practicing I really feel good." When he left he said: "Brother, I will practice on my own and I will come for your help if I can not figure it out."

Righteous Thoughts and Righteous Actions

1) To follow along the path arranged by Master to the end. Even since I can remember, I suffered from many illnesses. For many years I tried many treatments but none of them were effective. In January 1996 I was lucky to obtain Falun Dafa. All the illnesses disappeared. During the three years of Fa-rectification and saving beings, whether in the hot summer or cold winter, whether at night or if there are police sirens nearby, I go out to clarify the truth after sending forth righteous thoughts as long as there are truth-clarification materials. Once I put up four banners of truth-clarification in the most obvious place in front of the county government. As I work at a state agency, I have contacts with the carders and professionals of the province, the counties and the villages. I use reason and wisdom to clarify the truth and save beings in different situations. The effects are good. In July 2002 I suddenly spit up a lot of blood. I realized that it was persecution from the old forces. With the help of fellow practitioners I overcame the evil with righteous thoughts.

2) Grandma in Her Sixties Sticks to Truth Clarification under Persecution. One Falun Gong practitioner in her sixties sticks to her belief in Dafa and truth-clarification. She was illegally kidnapped and sent to brainwashing classes many times. Her nephew is also a Falun Gong practitioner and was persecuted to death. In March 2003 the criminals once again went to the elderly woman's home to harass her. The practitioner argued with them with the convincing facts of the benefits she got from Dafa both physically and spiritually and curbed the evil with her strong righteous thoughts.

Facts of the Persecution

1) Five Falun Gong practitioners who are teachers at the City and Village Construction School of Hebei Province received brutal persecution. Until now three were illegally sent for labor education and two were forced to wander around. Among them, Falun Gong practitioner Sun Tao was kidnapped and is currently being detained at Hebei Province Capital Brainwashing Center. Wen Weihua, Bai Zongru, and Wang Yahui, teachers of the school, were illegally sent for labor education for going to Beijing to appeal. After they were persecuted in Shijiazhuang Labor Education Center, they were released. Wu Yongxin, a teacher, was kidnapped by the Shijiazhuang City "610 Office" (an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems) at the end of September 2000. After he escaped from danger he was forced to wander about. In December 2001 he was kidnapped while clarifying the truth and later was sent to Hebei Province Capital Brainwashing Center. He was released after undergoing brutal persecution.

2) Gongjiawan Brainwashing Center in Lanzhou City, Gansu Province is now detaining over twenty people. On April 24, 2003, six people were transferred there from the Chengguan District Brainwashing Center. There, Falun Gong practitioners are not allowed to talk to each other. They are forced to attend brainwashing classes every day. Their families are not allowed to visit. Some Falun Gong practitioners have been detained for over a year. They are detained for indefinite terms for not writing letters to denounce Falun Gong.

3) Falun Gong practitioner Wang Yuhong of Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province went to Beijing to peacefully appeal in October 1999 and was illegally arrested by the Jiamusi Public Security Bureau. On November 3, 1999 she was illegally sentenced to three years of forced labor education. She went on hunger strikes many times. She was tortured to the point of loosing the ability to take care of herself and was extremely emaciated. She was released on September 1, 2002 after the term was up. On December 9, 2002 the vicious police at Qianjin Police Station Branch once again arrested her and confiscated her saving of 13,850 Yuan. In March 2003 she was once again illegally sentenced to three years of labor education.

4) Since March 2003 the vicious people of the "610 Office" of Xiangfan City, Hubei Province have illegally arrested Falun Gong practitioners in the name of brainwashing. Since April the vicious people again tricked Falun Gong practitioners into the brainwashing classes.

5) Hou Wenge and Li Hongjun, two vicious policemen at Jinjia Town Police Station of Changtu County, Liaoning Province, forced Falun Gong practitioner Meng Xianhui into the county detention center. On February 3, 2002 Hou Wenge and other vicious police beat Falun Gong practitioner Zhai Shuzhen with an iron baton and a wooden stick when she was returning from making Falun Gong materials, and made her faint. Four of her ribs were broken. The broken bones punctured her lung and caused blood and air in her chest. She recovered from this critical condition after emergency treatment at the hospital. The vicious police then kidnapped her and sent her to Masanjia Labor Education Center. The medical examination showed that Zhai Shuzhen has brain thrombus and other injuries and diseases. The center refused to accept her.

6) Xu Feng, a doctor at the Epidemic Department of Qianjiang City Center Hospital of Hubei Province went to Beijing to appeal and clarify the truth of Falun Gong in 1999, and was forced to pay a penalty. In 2000 he was forced into a brainwashing class by the hospital he works for, the County Security Office, and the "610 Office." At the end of March 2003 he was kidnapped. The police kicked him and beat him, and sent him to the brainwashing class in Wuhan City. He has not yet been released.
