(Clearwisdom.net May 14, 2003) On May 10, 2003, Dafa practitioners from
states of Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Connecticut of New England
Area gathered at Boston Common to celebrate World Falun Dafa Day.

The celebration began with traditional Chinese joyous and festive "Lion Dance." A Western practitioner sang the song he composed "I come for you" in both Chinese and English and several other songs. The practitioners then sang together, "Falun is all over the heaven and earth," "Traversing between Heaven and Earth." Their touching songs attracted many tourists to stop and watch. A practitioner recounted his/her tremendous changes both physically and mentally since cultivating Falun Dafa. A Western practitioner displayed several canvases he drew, including practicing the Falun Dafa exercises and eliminating the evil. An elderly practitioner wrote on the spot multiple calligraphies of "Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance" and presented to tourists who requested them and introduced Dafa to them.
An information center displayed various truth-clarifying literature and materials, VCDs, and video tapes. Large photo display boards exposed Jiang regime's brutal persecution of Falun Gong, the appeal for the rescue of Charles Li and introduction to Falun Dafa. The practitioners handed out Dafa truth-clarifying materials, collected signatures and answered questions raised by tourists. With a heart of compassion, the practitioners in the way of truth clarification to celebrate "World Faun Dafa Day."
Many practitioners who seldom came out to participate in group activities came out to help celebrate the day. Young mothers with their children, the elderly and the young, every practitioner did what they were supposed to do. During the day-long activity, practitioners cooperated with each other. After the activity was over, practitioners dispersed in Chinatown to have meals and to continue to clarify the truth to precious Chinese people.
