He was unlawfully arrested for practicing and clarifying the truth about Falun Dafa in Tibet. He was sentenced to one and a half years in jail. After he was released, in 2001 he was forcibly sent to a brainwashing class.
Duan Huiying, female, 61, is a resident in the Xindu District, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province. She was unlawfully detained many times for practicing Falun Dafa and is now being detained in Guanghan City's mental hospital.
Gong Xingfu, male, is a resident of Tuanjie Village, Xindu District, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province. He was unlawfully arrested and sentenced to three and a half years in jail for practicing and clarifying the truth about Falun Dafa. He is still in jail.

Wu Fenglin, male, 40, a resident from Tuanjie Village, Xindu District, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province was unlawfully arrested for practicing and clarifying the truth about Falun Dafa in April 2001. He is still being detained in jail.

Deng Yun, male, 34, a resident of the Xindu District, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province was unlawfully arrested in October 2000 for practicing and clarifying the truth about Falun Dafa. Later his house was illegally searched and his property was confiscated. In September 2002, he was again arrested and all his property was confiscated once again. Furthermore, he was sentenced to one and one-half years in jail. He is still being detained.
Zhang Yueqiong, female, 45, a farmer from Xinqiao Village, Xindu District, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province was unlawfully arrested in January 2000 for going to Beijing to appeal. Officers from the local police department detained her. In July 2002, she was unlawfully arrested for practicing exercises outdoors in Guanghan City and was then detained for one and a half months. On April 25, 2001, she was arrested for clarifying the truth about Falun Dafa. Lawless policemen used needles to jab her fingers. Several of her teeth were pried out during force-feeding because she went on a hunger strike to protest the persecution. She was sentenced to four years in prison. Although she has been beaten into a disabled state, she is still being detained.
Li Yun, female, 32, a resident from Majia Town, Xindu District, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province was unlawfully arrested in May 2000 for practicing and appealing for Falun Dafa in Beijing, and was detained for 15 days. In July 2000 when she again went to Beijing to appeal, she was unlawfully arrested and detained for 45 days. In November 2000, she was once again arrested in Hebei Province. Her home was ransacked and all her valuables were confiscated. In 2001, she was again unlawfully arrested for clarifying the truth of Falun Dafa and was sentenced to one year in jail. Not long after her release, she was arrested yet again for clarifying the truth. She is still being detained in jail.
Su Hongmei, female, 34, a teacher and resident of the Xindu District, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province was unlawfully arrested in February 2000 for practicing and appealing for Falun Gong in Beijing. She was detained for 15 days. In June 2000 when she went to Beijing to appeal, she was arrested and detained for 45 days. In September 2002, she was again unlawfully arrested for clarifying the truth about Falun Dafa. She was sentenced to two years in jail and is still being detained.
Li Xuemei, female, 27, an employee of a Chinese Medicine Hospital in the Xindu District, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province was unlawfully arrested in February 2000 for practicing and appealing for Falun Dafa in Beijing. She was detained for 15 days. When she went to Beijing in May of 2000 to appeal, she was again unlawfully arrested and was detained for 30 days. On June 30, 2000, she was arrested in her home. After being illegally detained for 45 days, she was illegally sentenced to one year of forced labor. Not long after she was released, she was again arrested for clarifying the truth about Falun Dafa. She was taken to a brainwashing class and at the same time sentenced to forced labor. She is still being detained in jail.
Kang Meihua, female, 55, a resident of Xinmin Town, Xindu District, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province was unlawfully arrested in February 2000 for practicing and appealing for Falun Dafa in Beijing. She was detained for 15 days and fined 6,500 Yuan [500 Yuan is the average monthly income for an urban worker in China; in rural areas it is much less]. In 2001, she was arrested for clarifying the truth of Falun Dafa and was illegally detained for eight months. In September 2002, she was again unlawfully arrested from home and put into jail. She is still being detained.
Wu Xiaoyi, male, 44, is a university graduate and engineer from the Construction Bureau in the Xindu District, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province. In June 2000, he was arrested for practicing Falun Dafa and was detained for ten days. In October 2002, he was arrested and taken to a brainwashing class for clarifying the truth about Falun Dafa. He is still being detained.
Pu Yuhua, female, 45, is a resident in the Xindu District, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province. In September 2001, she was arrested for practicing and clarifying the truth about Falun Dafa, and was detained for 15 days. In September 2002, she was again unlawfully arrested and sentenced to forced labor for clarifying the truth. She is still being detained in jail.

In the spring of 2000, he was unlawfully arrested for practicing Falun Dafa and detained for 15 days. In April 2001, he was again arrested for clarifying the truth about Falun Dafa. This time he was sentenced to four years in jail and is still being detained.
Ding Yueying, female, 52, is a retired employee who lives at No. 101 Dianzi Road, Xindu District, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province. On January 5, 2000, she was unlawfully arrested for practicing Falun Dafa and sentenced to one and a half years in jail. She is still being detained.
Xie Caile, female, 38, is a resident in the Xindu District, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province. In January 2000, she was unlawfully arrested for practicing and appealing for Falun Dafa in Beijing. She was detained for 15 days. In February, she went to Beijing again to appeal, and was detained for another 15 days. In May, she went to Beijing to appeal once more and was detained for 30 days. In July, she again went to Beijing to appeal and was detained for 30 days. Later she was sentenced to two years of forced labor. After she was released, she was again arrested and sent to a brainwashing class as punishment for clarifying the truth. Out of protest, Xie Caile left the brainwashing class but later was again arrested for clarifying the truth. She is still being detained in jail.

In November 2000, she was illegally sentenced to one and a half years of forced labor for clarifying the truth about Falun Dafa. In October 2002, she was kidnapped and taken to a brainwashing class.

Liao Yaoqing, male, near 30, is a teacher. In September 2001, he was unlawfully arrested for practicing and appealing for Falun Dafa in Beijing. He was detained and sentenced to one year of forced labor. After his release on September 25, 2002 he was forcibly arrested and taken to a brainwashing class. He is still being detained.
Wu Mingzhong, male, 39, is an employee of the No. 7 Branch Factory at Dianzi Road in the Xindu District, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province. On January 5, 2000 he was arrested for practicing Falun Dafa and was detained 48 hours. Later he was illegally sentenced to one and a half years of forced labor. After he was released in 2001, he was often harassed and had to leave home to avoid the persecution. In 2002, he was arrested for clarifying the truth and later was so brutally beaten that he became disabled. His whereabouts are currently unknown.
