(Clearwisdom.net) In the rapidly progressing course of the Fa-rectification, time is passing faster and it seems that in the blink of an eye, the time for another annual gathering of the Black and Puerto Rican communities in New York's capital city of Albany.
It was a grand occasion. State Senators and Assemblymen were able to have direct communication with their constituencies. In addition to introducing Falun Dafa and clarifying the truth, practitioners had a special project this year, telling people about the urgent rescue of the US citizen Mr. Charles Li.
Many people joined in the festivities. Dafa practitioners felt that the situation this year was quite different from last year. With the progress of Fa-rectification, evil factors in other dimensions have been largely eliminated, and they are no longer able to poison people's minds. All are waiting for Falun Dafa.
In our booth, a banner with the words "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" in both Chinese and English was prominently displayed. Below the banner was a large petition letter (24x36) for the urgent rescue of Mr. Charles Li. On both sides of the banner were Dafa display boards. Several Western practitioners repeatedly demonstrated the exercises. One practitioner placed a large beautiful handmade lotus flower in the middle of the site. Several other practitioners handed out Dafa materials to people passing by, answered their questions about Falun Dafa, and clarified the truth about the persecution. As people watched the peaceful beauty of the exercise demonstrations, they expressed their disbelief and anger at the Jiang regime's brutal persecution. Many signed their names to the petition requesting the American government to help stop the persecution and rescue Charles Li. We also met several State Senators and Assemblymen who expressed their support for Falun Gong and made appointments with us for further discussion.
Over three years of the persecution, Dafa practitioners have been persistently clarifying the truth about Falun Dafa with great compassion. More and more people have seen clearly the evil nature of the persecution, the sharp contrast between the good and the evil, and witnessed the goodness of Falun Dafa. More and more people have stood up to support Falun Dafa and condemn the persecution. They have chosen a bright future for themselves.
