The following is an excerpt from the article "Clarify the Truth while Sending Forth Righteous Thoughts."

Once I was clarifying the truth to a bus driver. When we started talking about Falun Gong, he started saying some bad things. I realized that he could not control his mind, which had been deceived by lies, and that I must help him and his passengers. I saw him as a poisoned patient whose life was in danger, and who could not help himself. I clarified the truth while sending forth righteous thoughts. I talked to him about two good friends who practice Falun Gong and how well they are doing. With strong righteous thoughts and a pure, compassionate, and peaceful field, his original nature finally came out. He made a complete turn around and accepted the truth. He agreed that Falun Dafa is righteous and that "Truthfulness, Benevolence, and Forbearance" are good. This incident helped me to understand that as long as we do things from the standpoint of saving sentient beings and with a benevolent heart that can melt steel, the people of the world will be saved, the evil lies will be exposed, and the old forces will perish.

The Truth and People's Heart

The following is an excerpt from the article "Stories from China I--Police Officer on Train Fights to Read Dafa Book."

I was blocked on my way to Beijing to appeal. On the train, I went to the train police¹, and asked them to let me read the copy of Zhuan Falun that they had taken from my fellow practitioner. They said it was not my book, so they would not give it to me. I went the second time, and told them about how I learned Falun Dafa, and how I changed from having health problems all over my body to having a mind and body in perfect health. A train attendant heard what I said but would not believe me. She said, "How could Falun Gong be so incredible?" Several other train attendants came up to us. One young man said, "It is true. Someone who worked in our station has a father who is over 60 years old, and who used to have all kinds of health problems. But after practicing Falun Gong, they all went away. You can go ask him yourself." A police officer said, "If it is that good, I cannot give this book to you, I need to read it." Another male train attendant wanted to read it as well. The two of them fought over the book. Finally the police officer took the book away and said, "I will read it first, then I will let others read it."

"Stories from China II"

The new director of our Neighborhood Administration Office used to be very strict about Falun Dafa practitioners. Once I took the initiative to talk to her about Falun Gong. Starting from my own mental and physical improvements, I analyzed the staged Tiananmen Self-Immolation incident, the appeals of Falun Dafa practitioners, and how we are persecuted. She listened carefully and said that my words were very reasonable. She said, "Since it is such a good practice, the government should let you be." She was one of the people working in the county's brainwashing class. Falun Dafa practitioners continuously clarified the truth to her, and she quit her job before the class ended. Later, my neighbor became the new director in charge of monitoring Falun Gong. I always clarify the truth to her father. After I heard she was the new director, I told him, "Tell her to restrain herself and position herself well." He answered, "We talked and decided that she will not take this job. Tomorrow she will give the job to someone else. I'd rather have her unemployed and at home than take that job."
