Falun Gong practitioner Zhou was illegally detained and robbed of 120 Yuan [500 Yuan is the average monthly income for an urban worker in China] cash by Erdao Village Police Station, Fengman District, Jilin City on September 25, 2002.

On October 22, 2002, 53 year old Dafa practitioner Qi was also illegally detained by the same police station. Qi was tied to a "tiger bench"* for a whole night in the freezing cold. The persecutors also took 300 Yuan cash from his family.

On April 8, 2003, Wutai Police Station in Dehui County arrested a Falun Gong practitioner and took 850 Yuan cash from him simply because he was wearing a Falun Gong pin. He had borrowed the money for farming expenses. They also sentenced the practitioner to a labor camp for one and a half years.

A suggestion: expose the evil people more effectively

When exposing the wrongdoings of evil people, in addition to collecting their home numbers, work numbers, and cell phone numbers we should also collect their home addresses. If possible, we should also collect the phone numbers of their relatives, friends, neighbors, co-workers, and even the phone numbers of their children's schools in order to send the truth material more directly and selectively. This will result in being more effective in clarifying the truth and exposing their evil doings.

Practitioners in Mainland China can further use the persecution cases published on Clearwisdom by printing them and distributing the case information in areas near the perpetrators' workplaces, homes, and any other place they frequent. This is so that everyone who has contact with these people can learn of their evil doings.

The Truth and People's Hearts

A Falun Gong practitioner rented a room in a village in a county in northern China. One day he was doing house cleaning and found some money, about 1,100 Yuan . The money had been left in the room by the owner who had died. The practitioner returned the money to the owner's daughter and her husband. The husband said, "Based on this incident alone, I know that you are beyond the ordinary realm. Do you have any Falun Gong material? I'd like to read it carefully." He also took out 200 Yuan and said I know you will not accept it because of your high moral character, but please consider this money as a donation for making Falun Gong truth material.

*"tiger bench" - Practitioners are forced to sit on a small iron bench that is approximately 20 cm (6 inches) tall with their knees tied together. With their hands tied behind their backs or sometimes placed on their knees, they are forced to sit straight up and look straight ahead. They are not allowed to turn their heads, close their eyes, talk to anyone or move at all. Several inmates are assigned to watch over the practitioners and force themáto remain motionless while sitting on the bench. Usually some hard objects are inserted underneath the practitioners' lower legs or ankles to make it harder for them to tolerate this abuse
