Teaching the Fa at the Washington, D.C. Fa Conference

Hello! (Warm applause)

It's been a long time since I saw you last. For a lot of different reasons I don't want to make too many appearances. The main reason is that Dafa disciples are validating the Fa and saving sentient beings; each Dafa disciple is taking his own path, and each Dafa disciple needs to have the opportunity to take his own path. So as your Master, I can't take away your opportunity to validate the Fa yourself. I have to let you do this yourselves.

Falun Dafa Information Center: A Trial that Never Should Have Happened

The truth is, the arrest and trial should never have happened -- they violate both Hong Kong and international laws. They breach the freedoms of expression and assembly that Hong Kong residents and visitors have historically enjoyed, and they challenge the integrity of Hong Kong's justice system. They are blatant examples of the pressure that Jiang Zemin applies to governments around the world in his attempt to defame Falun Gong and thereby justify his cruel persecution.

A letter to Hong Kong government from Ireland Falun Dafa Association: "The real trial seems to be of the autonomy of Hong Kong ..."

August 7, 2002

Your Excellency,

I am writing to you on behalf of the Falun Dafa Association Ireland to express our concerns over current events that are happening in Hong Kong. Currently there is a trial of Falun Dafa practitioners, 4 of whom are Swiss and 12 others are Hong Kong citizens. They are charged with obstructing a path, obstructing police and even assaulting police. These practitioners were merely appealing peacefully while meditating in front of the Chinese Liaison Office when they were assaulted and removed by the police. What would cause the Hong Kong police to attack the rights of its citizens and foreigners who were acting in accordance to the Hong Kong basic law? The real trial seems to be of the autonomy of Hong Kong and its independence from the Chinese Government.
