(Clearwisdom.net) We are five female Dafa practitioners (the oldest of us is 67 years old, and the youngest practitioner is only three and half). We started the activity of clarifying the truth and spreading Fa over thousands of miles from the Western to the central region of Russia. Whether going to villages, small towns, or the capital city of that region, we all felt that the modest Russian people were waiting for the Fa.
The first place we held the Hongfa activities was a small town, the hometown of one practitioner among us. The people in the town were cordial and sincere. When we practiced the exercises and delivered Falun Dafa materials, people were eager to take and read them. After reading the introduction of Dafa, some said excitedly, "This is exactly what I have searched for my entire life." They keenly wanted to learn the Fa and the exercises.
The next stop was the capital city of one Russian Republic. It is a beautiful and clean city with around one million people. We held activities of introducing Falun Dafa here for two days. The weather was extremely hot. However, with Dafa in our mind, we thought of the great responsibility of saving people here. So we started early and went back late. We visited the city government, TV stations, and went around big markets to hand out information materials and to demonstrate the exercises. Sometimes we could hardly eat a meal in a day, but even the three-year old little disciple did not complain about the hardship. The practitioners' righteous thoughts and righteous deeds brought good effects.
The warmhearted support of the TV station
The first thing we did in this city was to clarify the truth and introduce Falun Dafa to the media, TV station, and the city government. Though the mayor was absent when we went to the city government, the reception personnel received us cordially. They took all the materials we presented them and promised to give them to the mayor. The person who received us in the TV station happened to be in charge of the news department. They knew nothing about Falun Gong. He was interested in the introduction made by the practitioners, and pleasantly received the materials. He also warmheartedly supported us to come back to this city after two weeks. At that time, we were going to hold a workshop to introduce Falun Dafa and offer exercise instructions in the central park. The TV station promised to send reporters to interview us and report on our activities.
The precious Chinese are awakening
There are few Chinese living here. Everyone we met was glad to take the truth-clarification materials. They happily escorted practitioners to meet other Chinese. One man came on his own accord to ask for materials when seeing us practicing exercises. He even took some more materials for his friends. We told him that he was doing something good. He smiled understandingly, and said, "I know. People should do more good deeds, not bad things."
Friendly policemen
The next day, we went to the biggest central market in the city to introduce Falun Dafa. In front of the market, there was an open space, where people can park cars. It's also a place where people walk through to go towards the market. So we decided to demonstrate the exercises and to hand out materials there. We introduced Falun Dafa and clarified the truth to local policemen. The four local policemen replied kindly, "It's O.K., as long as you don't obstruct traffic."
In the area where Muslims gather, at the beginning, some elderly man was confused and asked us, "Did you give the policemen money?" The practitioners peacefully told him, "The policemen did not ask for or receive any money from us. All our activities are offered by volunteers, free of charge." The policemen laughed, and so did other people.
Support from the manager of the market
Since the area was administered by market management, holding any activities there required their permission. Other people were lined up, waiting for the manager to solve their problems. The practitioners patiently sat and waited there, sending forth righteous thoughts. When it was our turn, after listening to our brief introduction, the manager asked us, "How many days do you need?" The practitioners said, "two hours are enough." The manager said, "Then, I'll sign for ten days to you!" The security guards of the market even volunteered to organize the area and maintain order. Soon after we started doing the practices, there came a truck. The guard quickly commanded, "Drive to another place. Don't you see that people are demonstrating exercises here?!"
This was the first time we came to this city. This was also the first time people here could watch our peaceful and tranquil cultivation practice. Everyone passing here kindly received the Dafa materials. In just about one hour, we had given out 1,500 pieces of Dafa materials. People watched us doing the exercises with interest. Many people surrounded us and asked, "How can we obtain Dafa books? Where can we learn the exercises?" Only after they knew that we would come back to teach the practices voluntarily, did they leave joyfully.
