1. [Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province] 610 Office Illegally Sentences Falun Dafa Practitioners to Long Prison Terms
The 610 Office (an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems) of Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province secretly and illegally handed down heavy sentences to the following 18 Falun Dafa practitioners on July 8, 2002:

Liu Jinhai (female), 3 years with 1-year probation
2. [China] Jiang's Regime Once Again Contradicts Itself
At 7 pm on July 11, 2002, Jiang's regime attacked Falun Gong on CCTV news by calling the broadcasting of the truth about the "Tiananmen Square Self-immolation Incident" in Chongqing City and Changchun City a "reactionary" act. They are continuing to deceive the Chinese people.
The "Tiananmen Square Self-immolation Incident" was originally directed, produced, and broadcast by Jiang's regime itself in order to fabricate a charge against Falun Gong and attack Falun Gong. We became the so-called "reactionaries" simply by replaying their own footage in slow motion, letting people clearly see the flaws.
3. [Langfang City, Hebei Province] Former Practitioners Chen Changjie and Ao Te'er Participate in the Persecution
Chen Changjie and Ao Te'er, a couple in Langfang City, Hebei Province have turned against Dafa under the pressures of the persecution. They went to the forced labor camp in Handan City on New Year's Day 2001 to harass and apply pressure to Falun Dafa practitioners there.
4. [Gaoyi County, Hebei Province] Police Arrest Falun Dafa Practitioners and Send Them to Brainwashing Class
At 5:00 am on July 9, several people from the Gaoyi County Police Department forcibly arrested Falun Dafa practitioners Wang Xianjun, Yu Hua (female), Niu Xinxian, Wang Junping (female), and Liu Zhiying (female) in Gaoyi County and sent them to the Brainwashing Center of Hebei Province, which is located in Shijiazhuang City. Some of the officials climbed over walls and through windows in order to enter practitioners' homes.
It is said that Gaoyi County plans to allocate enormous amounts of money to arrest more Falun Dafa practitioners and send them to the brainwashing center in Hebei Province. After the couple Niu Xinxian and Wang Junping were arrested, two young children were left at home with no one to take care of them. Liu Zhiying's handicapped daughter is unable to care for herself, and she misses her mother a great deal.
5. [Lanzhou City, Gansu Province] Lawless Officials in Changfeng Factory Rampantly Persecute Dafa Practitioners
Party Secretary Du Zhiwei, Guo Dali, Wei Lierong, Shen Liehui, and others from the security office in the state-run Changfeng Factory in Lanzhou City, Gansu Province, closely followed Jiang in persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners in the factory. Many Falun Dafa practitioners in this factory were detained, sent to forced labor camp, stripped of their Party memberships, had their homes ransacked, and had their salaries suspended. Recently, when they conspired to send Cao Shenming to brainwashing class, this Dafa practitioner was forced to leave his home and go from place to place.
6. [Lintong City, Shaanxi Province] Police Arrest Falun Dafa Practitioner Jin Rong
Falun Dafa practitioner Jin Rong of Lintong City was arrested at his work unit on July 3rd of this year.
