(Clearwisdom.net) Early in the morning of July 20, 2002, despite the windy and freezing weather in the middle of winter of the southern hemisphere, some Australian Falun Gong practitioners held a ceremony at dawn in front of the Chinese Embassy in Canberra as a memorial service for those Falun Gong practitioners who have lost their lives due to the persecution in China. At night there was a candlelight vigil until 11 PM.

On Sunday morning, as on Sundays over the past few months, practitioners gathered again in front of the embassy to send righteous thoughts, do group exercises, distribute Falun Gong literature and clarify the truth to tourists and people passing by.
