(Clearwisdom.net) Located in the Tongjiang Court Building in Jitou Town, the brainwashing center of the Wuhou District in Chengdu City, Sichuan Province, is one of the bases of Jiang's clique to persecute Dafa practitioners. On April 8, 2002, the deputy secretary Gao Mingliang, who is the chief official in charge of the persecution against Falun Gong practitioners in the Wuhou District, went to preside over a meeting to slander Dafa in the brainwashing class. The practitioners boycotted the meeting, so the officials carried and pulled the practitioners into the meeting room by force. Gao personally beat and kicked an old practitioner. Two team leaders of the brainwashing class, Liu Xiaokang and Wang Jimin, who are also officials from the district government, took the lead to beat the practitioners. Strongly boycotted by the practitioners, the meeting was ended in a rush.
Practitioner Fang Hui is a lecturer of Sichuan University. She was kidnapped from home by the Wangjiang Police Station in February this year. After being detained in the Chengdu Detention Center for a month, she was sent to the brainwashing center for long-term imprisonment. She refused to co-operate with the evil and held a hunger strike. The evil officials there force-fed her in the above-mentioned way and wounded the wall of her stomach, causing a serious hemorrhage. She started the hunger strike from April 20, and now she her life is in danger.
