Dai Xiaojing, an elderly female Falun Gong practitioner, was tortured to death on April 25, 2002, in Zhengzhou City, Henan Province. Her death was the 3rd case in which Falun Gong practitioners were tortured to death in 6 days in Henan province. This shows that the persecution has been intensified in this province. Dai Xiaojing's death is the 419th verified case in which a Falun Gong practitioner has been tortured to death.
Border Negotiations
The facts: Jiang Zemin traded out state profits. In the end of 1999, China and Russia signed the "China-Russia Agreement on Border Partitions" submissively giving Russia territory totaling 3,440,000 square kilometers in the northeast area of China, which is equivalent in area to 95 Taiwans. This area has been much disputed in history. To deceive the public and to deal with the military's discontentment, Jiang Zemin moved the entire north frontier defense army to Fujian, a province in the southeast. He also had his lackeys spread rumors to a local newspaper in Helongjiang Province saying that the Russians were very disappointed in the results of the border negotiations.
