(Clearwisdom.net) In order to let the Chinese people know the truth about the illegal persecution against Falun Gong in China, Yasuko Kaneko, Yoko Horie and I decided to go to Beijing's Tiananmen Square. We arrived in Beijing on May 23, 2002.

Three of them have a group photo taken in a Beijing hotel. Starting from left is Ayumi Abe, Yasuko Kaneko, and Yoko Horie.

On the afternoon of May 24, we walked to Tiananmen Square while distributing Dafa truth-clarifying literature. Unfortunately, When we walked less than 30 meters (about 90 feet) and passed out all Dafa truth-clarifying literature, a plainclothes police officer rushed to catch us. Yasuko Kaneko and Miss Yoko Horie were trod under the police's feet. Another policeman was called to help, and all three of us were piled up and pressed together on the ground. Later they forcefully threw us into a police van. While in the van, the police brutally beat me in the face. When the police car stopped due to the traffic jam, we told the passersby that Falun Gong is being persecuted. The police kept urging the driver, "Hurry up!"

When we were taken to the Haidian District Police Precinct, we kept requesting to meet with Japanese Embassy officials in Beijing. However, three policewomen forcibly body-searched us. We refused to cooperate as we didn't commit crimes nor did we do any bad things. Later a group of men came in. Two of them sandwiched me from both side and grabbed my head, one pressed my back and another kicked my leg. They attempted to take a photo of my face. They also forced us to take off our shoes and walk barefoot on the cold and dirty cement floor until we left. They took away Miss Yoko Horie and me who held Japanese passports, and left Yasuko Kaneko alone, who is a Japanese resident with a Chinese passport.

They escorted us to another place where there is one big room with two cells. They separated us and interrogated us individually. I again refused this attempt to take my picture. After that, several policemen verbally abused me with despicable and foul language.

One policeman said so foul language that I immediately and solemnly said, "You can't curse me and treat me like this. You should learn to respect others." He said that he not only cursed me but would also beat me. After finishing his words, he rushed into and brutally beat me on my head and in my face. Another policeman also attempted to join him. I said, "I don't allow you to treat me like this," and directly looked into his eyes. He gave up his idea and left after a while. At midnight, three policewomen pushed me onto a bed, twisted my arms and trod my legs to force another body-search on me. During the time, I told them that my disease was cured after practicing Falun Gong. I have a good health now. So China's propaganda is wrong. More than 100 million people in over 50 countries around the world are practicing Falun Gong, and different governments have issued over 700 awards to Falun Gong. They were surprised to hear this.

At 3:00 a.m. to 4:00 a.m. on May 25, I decided to leave the police station as I didn't commit any crime. I said I wanted to go to toilet. After I walked out I ran. Three policemen caught up with me. Two of them sandwiched me from both sides, and one police pulled my hair and savagely beat me on the back of my head and in the face. He even attempted to slam my head against the car but stopped, for fear of leaving any bruises or cuts on me.

At noon, on May 25, they took me to the airport. Afraid that I would clarify the truth to passengers, they didn't allow me to get out of the car. After they went through all the checking-in procedures for me, without entering from the hall, they sent me to the flight from a passage without any passengers. I couldn't meet with Japanese Embassy staff any of the time I was held captive by the police. These policemen are also deceived by Jiang's regime. When we told them that Falun Gong is legal abroad, we can parade under the protection of the police and we enjoy a very good reputation in the world, they didn't believe us.

On our way to the airport, Miss Yoko Horie and I cried. We felt sad for those policemen who live in the sea of lies.
