Dafa Practitioner Tortured to Death in Nanhu Farm Labor Camp in Xuancheng City, Anhui Province
(Clearwisdom.net) The Nanhu Farm Labor Camp in Xuancheng City, Anhui Province illegally detained four Dafa practitioners in Team 1 of Squad 9.
The four practitioners have been on a hunger strike for over twenty days to protest the persecution. One of them (a 48-year-old male practitioner) was tortured to death on May 2. Detailed information about this practitioner is has not yet been obtained. The situation of the other three practitioners is not yet known.
Lawyer Mr. Li Jian in Zhengyang County, Henan Province Tortured to Death in Henan Province No. 3 Labor Camp for Clarifying the Truth
(Clearwisdom.net) On April 25, 2002, Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Li Jian was tortured to death in Henan Province No. 3 Labor Camp. He was 34 years old.
Li Jian was a resident of Zhengyang County, Henan Province. He was a lawyer. He was kidnapped and illegally sentenced to three years of forced labor because he made truth clarification materials. The authorities arrested him in 2000 and sent him to the No. 3 Labor Camp in Xuchang City, Henan Province in late April 2001.

SHANGHAI, China (AP) - Falun Gong [practitioners] have broken into the cable television system of another major Chinese city and broadcast a video criticizing the government crackdown on the group, police and witnesses said Thursday.
