The World Journal, New Jersey -- The Photo Exhibit "Falun Dafa: Ten Years of Happiness, Courage, and Honor" was held in New Jersey City at a public library. Through the pictures, the practitioners recounted the ten-year history of Falun Dafa. Chinese artist Chi Nongshen who helped with the collection of the photos had a bag of films that came from Hong Kong. The pictures portrayed the courageous and peaceful protests of Falun Gong practitioners. These pictures let more Western people understand the persecution of Falun Gong.
The COMET IKEYA -- ZHANG that has once visited the earth during Kangxi's rule of the Qing dynasty came back again on April 4, 2002. The COMET IKEYA-ZHANG, that was recently discovered in February 2002 by Chinese and Japanese residents. It passes the earth once every 400 years and is more rare than Comet Halley.
Truth about the Persecution
The Shouguang Public Security Bureau in Weifang City of Shandong Province and the "610 Office" [an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems] abducted Falun Dafa practitioners and sent them to brainwashing classes. They forced the practitioners to listen to and watch videos that slander Falun Dafa. The practitioners who remained solid received harsh treatment. They were not allowed to eat and sleep. They were handcuffed to iron windows, bedsides and chairs. They were monitored individually and even restroom breaks were restricted. The practitioners who went on hunger strike to protest were tortured by force-feeding. The criminal personnel: Jiang Chong, Li Tongzhong, Tian Qingchun, Meng Qingjiang and Xia Xuehu.
The lawless officials at Dabei Jail in Shenyang City, Liaoning Province instigate the prisoners to torture Dafa practitioners. They use the promise that "[the prisoner's] death sentence would be changed to a life sentence, and a life sentence would be changed to a limited sentence if the prisoner 'reforms' one Dafa practitioner." From August 2001 to the present, the vicious policemen and prisoners brutally torture the practitioners. They disallow the practitioners to sleep, hang them up and brutally beat them. They expose them to smoke and fire and shock them with electric batons. When the practitioners were shocked to the ground, the prisoners would stomp on them. A practitioner was beaten so bad that he passed out many times but the vicious policeman pretended he didn't see it and even gave suggestions [on how to torture the practitioner] to the prisoners.
A practitioner in Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province kept clarifying the truth. She went to Beijing to rectify the Fa four times and was sent to a mental hospital twice. She was illegally detained many times and sent to a forced labor camp. Because she refused to cooperate with the evil under all circumstances, she endured physical and mental tortures that an ordinary person could not possibly endure. With righteous thoughts, she walked out of the demon's den in an open and aboveboard manner several times, and right now she has left home to avoid illegal arrest.
Practitioners in Sichuan Province recount the bloody violence used by the vicious police. Practitioners including Zhang Yuequn, Chen Guijun, Dong Jinhi, Luo Changyong and Wang Jisen are indefinitely detained at Xindu Detention Center. They suffered all kinds of tortures. Zhang Yuequn's legs were stretched out by several policemen who then stomped on her legs repeatedly. They also hit her head against the wall. They tortured her using "Carrying a Sword on the Back." [The practitioner's hands are tied behind his back with one hand over the shoulder and the other hand against the lower back. The police then apply a great deal of force to pull the two hands toward one another and handcuff the two hands together.] The police repeatedly tortured Zhang, then loosened her hands, and then handcuffed her again. The vicious police broke Zhang's index finger and ring finger on her left hand. They also continuously poked her fingers with pushpins until her nails fell off. Right now, several practitioners are still holding a hunger strike.
News from China
Today 164 people posted their solemn statements on the website of Falun Dafa, invalidating their words and behaviors made under the great pressure of brainwashing and torture that did not comply with the requirements of Falun Dafa. They said that they would make up for the losses by clarifying the truth of Falun Dafa to the people of the world and keep up with the Fa-rectification.
A letter from a practitioner in mainland China to the United Nations Human Rights Organization: I was detained for appealing for an end of the persecution of Falun Dafa in China and experienced inhuman treatment. As a result, my left jaw was out of its original place and my heart would sometimes stop beating for short periods of time. I also heard that several Falun Dafa practitioners like me were tortured to death. I went to Tiananmen Square to speak out about the great wrong done to me and to Falun Dafa but I was arrested again. I was finally released after a 6-day hunger strike. I hope that the related organizations of the United Nations could help put the murderers of innocent people to justice.

Analysis of the report in the Changchun Media about the alleged attack on police by Liu Chengjun and the resulting accident. Both of Liu Chengjun's hands were tied up and there were two policemen by his side. How could he attack the driver sitting at the front of the vehicle to cause the accident? The only cause of the accident is the evil conduct of the police and their rampant behavior. The report was another lie made up by Jiang's group to smear Falun Dafa and to create excuses for further persecution.
The proof of a patient suffering from breast cancer at an advanced stage. I am a retired teacher. Before I obtained Dafa I spent tens of thousands of Yuan to try to cure my illness. Yet the cancer relapsed. After practicing Falun Gong I am healthy both physically and spiritually. Since Jiang Zemin's state-run terrorism began, I witnessed the terrible scenes of fellow practitioners being tortured by his group for being steadfast in their beliefs and was also tortured both physically and mentally myself.
Experience Sharing between Practitioners
The magical experience I had when escaping from danger using righteous thoughts. In November 2001 I was arrested while putting up Falun Gong materials. I did not cooperate with the evil at all. I did not talk and went on a hunger strike. After being illegally detained for three-and-half months I broke out of detention with no danger. Before New Year's Day I was kidnapped at home and sent for labor education. I did not pass the medical exam and was released. I was later arrested on Tiananmen Square, but I managed to walk away.
News from the Overseas
On March 18, 2002 Falun Gong practitioners in Hungary held the first Falun Gong News Conference there. Meanwhile, around 40 practitioners from Hungary, Germany, Austria, Sweden and Taiwan gathered in front of the Chinese Embassy, appealing to Jiang's regime to immediately stop the persecution against innocent Falun Gong practitioners.
