Solemn Declaration

Intentionally spreading rumors about Dafa practitioners is one method the evil uses to interfere with Dafa. For example, "610 Office" officials used to spread rumors about me, saying that I am a rapist who raped four to five women, that I had therefore been sentenced to jail and forced labor. They told other practitioners not to practice Dafa anymore, using my case as an example of why. I hadn't ever even dealt with officers from the "610 Office," yet they are eager to defame me, calling me a rapist without even knowing whether I'm a man or woman.

I am a petite 32-year-old woman. On October 25, 1999, according to the law, I unfurled a banner on Tiananmen Square to appeal for Falun Dafa and was illegally arrested and sentenced to one year of forced labor. In May 2001, corrupt police again kidnapped me from my home and ransacked my home. They used my exposing the evil on the Internet as an excuse and claimed they would sentence me to 10 years in prison. Since I hadn't studied the Fa deeply enough, and was influenced by my many remaining attachments, I became irrational and was deceived by the evil. I cooperated with the evil and aided their interference in Dafa and caused a great loss to Dafa. Afterwards, I held a hunger strike to protest and to negate their evil arrangements. With Teacher's benevolent help and the just and kind support of many people, I broke out of the demon's den, openly and aboveboard. Yet the evil has not given up, as they are searching for me everywhere. I had no choice but to leave my home to avoid certain arrest. The persecution is continuing. Now I solemnly announce: I will cherish this opportunity. From now on, I will walk righteously on my own path of cultivation and Fa rectification. I will redouble my efforts in making up for the loss, completely wash off my stain and keep up with Teacher's Fa rectification process. I will continue to diligently clarify the truth and assist Teacher in the human world to offer salvation to more people who are deluded by the evil, and completely deny the arrangements made by the old forces.

Solemn Declaration

In October 1999, I went to Beijing to appeal and validate Dafa, and later the local police authorities sent me to forced labor. Lacking a deep understanding of Teacher's Fa rectification, with strong attachment(s) I accepted brainwashing in the labor camp, an evil environment. Furthermore, I assisted the evil and did a great amount of work [for them], which interfered with many practitioners' righteous belief of Dafa. What I did not only interfered with and damaged Teacher's Fa rectification and salvation; it also harmed fellow practitioners and myself. It was Dafa and fellow practitioners' effortless inspiration and enlightenment that awakened me from traveling along an evil path. Hereby, I solemnly announce: all the "repentance statements, exposure information and first-hand account(s)" are completely void. I hope those practitioners who heard my unrighteous words in the detention center and the labor camp will not be affected by my evil understanding(s) and will keep up with Teacher's Fa rectification process. I will make up for the loss I caused to Dafa and other people, become a real Fa rectification period Dafa disciple and not let down Teacher's arduous offers of salvation.

Solemn Declaration

In early October 1999, I went to Beijing to appeal for Dafa, a citizen's lawful right, although I was deprived of such right. I was illegally detained and later illegally sentenced to three years of forced labor. I was fired from my job and expelled from the Party. On November 12 of the same year I was illegally sent to forced labor and suffered all kinds of abuse. One year later I was secretly transferred to a drug rehabilitation center. After more than a month of continuous psychological torture and evil brainwashing, my heart was very depressed and tired. On November 19, 2000, when I was not in my right mind, under the control of unrighteous understanding, I accepted interviews from a TV station and a broadcast station and accepted the evil's arrangement for my work. Not only did I hurt other practitioners, I also created an extremely bad influence and caused damage to Dafa. Hereby, I want to clarify to people: I lost my job because of the evil's persecution, my daughter was left to no one's care because of the illegal forced labor. My former peaceful and ordered family life was taken away from me. With Teacher's great, benevolent prompting as a reminder and with fellow practitioners' help, I suddenly awakened from lingering along an evil path. I am extremely regretful. Hereby I solemnly announce what I have to say after this painful experience: in the past, under the control of evil understandings, everything I have said and written that does not conform to Dafa is completely void. I will cultivate Dafa with determination and redouble my effort to make up for the loss I caused to Dafa and the damage I have done to people and fellow practitioners. I will not let down Teacher in his arduous salvation efforts. I am grateful and happy that I again became a guardian of the true law of the cosmos. This is the real meaning of life. I express deep regrets. Convey my apologies and I pay the most sacred respect to our benevolent Teacher!

Solemn Declaration in Court

This is My Defense Statement written by a practitioner who is still suffering persecution at Panzhihua City Detention Center, and who wrote this under extremely difficult circumstances. The writer of this article excerpted the following part of the statement:

Judge, Umpire and Secretary:

Today, this public trial gives me the opportunity to defend myself and state my cause. Thereupon, I have one request: Judge, please give me enough time to defend and speak. Please don't interrupt or prohibit me from continuing to speak. Please protect our legal rights to "defend and make a statement" endowed by the law. First, I want to make several announcements:

1. Teacher Li Hongzhi came to the human world to spread the righteous Fa and offer salvation to all beings.

2. Falun Gong is the cultivation of the righteous Fa. The practitioners are all volunteers, without any formal organizational structure.

3. Some time ago, I made the statement, "Keep consistent with the Party and do not practice Falun Gong" and I said, "I won't practice if you say so," all of which I herein claim are void.
