1. [Jilin Province] Massive Police Raids Round Up Practitioners in Jilin City
Since a Changchun cable television network aired truth-clarification videotapes on March 5, 2002, more and more people realize the nature of evil and understand the truth about Falun Gong, while at the same time, the evil forces become more frightened. On March 11, the forces in Jilin City sent out an emergency order to all businesses and institutions requiring that each workplace be fully responsible that it's employees not conduct any activity related to Falun Gong. Every neighborhood committee is to be fully responsible for its residents. Policemen from all stations are to patrol the streets in plainclothes to apprehend Falun Gong practitioners who distribute or post Dafa materials. It was reported that the Department of Public Security has given the order for police to search the homes of all Falun Gong practitioners on the blacklists prepared by neighborhood committees and local police stations. They are to arrest the practitioners if they find Falun Gong books, CDs or materials in their homes. They are to question all whether they still practice Falun Gong. If the answer is yes, they are to be arrested, detained or sentenced to prison or forced labor camp. It was also reported that the "resolution" of the Falun Gong "issue" and the vast campaigns of arrest will go on for quite a while. Many practitioners have no choice but to leave their homes if they are to avoid being illegally arrested. Many had already been arrested prior to this latest order.
Local police stations assigned quotas of Falun Gong practitioners to be arrested to each policeman. All police are required to take part in the persecution, whether they want to or not. The neighborhood committees assign committee members to search every resident's home and to follow and watch practitioners living in their neighborhood. All directors of the neighborhood committees are required to participate in the persecution.
Police vehicles and patrol vehicles haunt the streets and alleys day and night in Jilin City. They watch for Falun Gong practitioners distributing or posting Dafa materials. The massive arrest campaign is planned for the period of March 13 to March 28. We hope that all practitioners in Jilin City pay attention to their safety, that they take very seriously the sending forth of righteous thoughts, and that they continue to use their wisdom as they clarify the truth and offer salvation to people.

A few days ago, I met a friend who works at the Chinese Central Television Station. I told him the true facts about the staging of the Tiananmen immolation case. After listening, he smiled and said: "Everyone who works at the CCTV station knows that if a piece of news about Falun Gong is to be broadcast, the authorities first always find and coach an appropriate person and have him wait at the appointed place for the reporter. The interviewee simply recites his prepared lines and is then well rewarded. That's no secret at CCTV!" If even CCTV behaves like this, one can imagine how local media fake the news as well.
3. [Dehui City, Jilin Province] Police Conduct Massive Raids While Loudspeakers Clarifying the Truth Are Hung at a Police Station.
As instructed by the "Supervision and Guidance Team" in Changchun, the police in Dehui City, Jilin Province schemed the following action. Starting from March 6, wearing steel helmets and carrying submachine guns, the police wantonly raid the homes of Dafa practitioners and arrest them. They ransack the homes of practitioners they consider "important." By March 13, over 20 practitioners had been arrested, 11 of them from Yangshu Town. Details are under investigation.
The "Supervision and Guidance Team" dispatched by Jiang's political gang came to Dehui City. They even forced police who didn't want to go against Dafa to persecute Dafa practitioners. Heaven and earth can barely tolerate this. Humans and gods are angered by such behavior.
It's reported that on the evening of March 6 when the police started their raids that suddenly a windstorm began. It darkened the sky and obscured everything. The same night, two murders occurred as well as 6 or 7 serious criminal cases. The police did not go after the criminals but instead seized the good people. This undoubtedly makes it convenient for real criminals to commit crimes.
On the morning of March 12, loudspeakers were hung at 3 places including the Dehui Municipal Department of Public Security, broadcasting Dafa truth-clarification messages, effectively suffocating the evil. The vicious persecution continues, however. We hereby call all practitioners and kind-heated people worldwide to express righteous support.

4. [Jilin Province] Drawing in a Great Many People Based on a Suspicion.
Around 1:00pm on March 11, every street corner in the Dahua area of Yushu City was guarded by police. Lots of police vehicles and official cars with Changchun license plates were parked on streets nearby. Many people surrounded the main entrances to the residential area, including a large group of policemen, plainclothes officers and uniformed personnel from the Bureau of Security. A crowd of people had gathered to see what was going on. A group of policemen, plainclothes officers and representatives from the neighborhood committee were conducting door to door searches of all residences in the area. The townspeople said that they were trying to apprehend a Falun Gong practitioner from Changchun who was suspected to have something to do with the Changchun cable television network airing Falun Dafa truth-clarification videos. Police and plainclothes were stationed at all city exits until late in the night. Even little alleys leading to suburban fields were guarded by police vehicles watching for practitioners.
According to insiders, this illegal raid was caused by a practitioner's cell phone conversation that was monitored and traced to this location.
5. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Practitioners in Wujiabao Forced Labor Camp Have Been on Hunger Strike for Over 40 days
The Wujiabao Forced Labor Camp is extremely vicious. Falun Gong practitioners detained there are enduring inhumane torture everyday. With no other means of appeal available to them, the practitioners went on hunger strike to oppose their illegal detention and physical and mental torture. The camp warden and the guards show no restraint in their brutal persecution of Dafa practitioners. Instead, they employ cruel and ruthless means such as force-feeding to torture the practitioners. Many practitioners have been tortured to their last gasp.
Practitioners Wang Dejun, Wang Zhongyuan, Yan Bin and Yao Yanhui started a hunger strike on February 4. Their hunger strike has lasted over 40 days now. They become very weak and are in a desperate situation. We sincerely ask all governments worldwide and international organizations who love peace and respect human rights as well as all kind-hearted people to pay attention to this and give your support and help. On the evening of March 2, 2002, 6 or 7 policemen forcibly arrested practitioner Zhang Zhihua from her home. The police would not even let go of the two guests who were visiting. The two guests were taken to the police station and interrogated before they were set free. Zhang Zhihua was sent to a detention center where she remains illegally detained. Zhang did not cooperate with the evil police. She went on hunger strike and practiced Falun Gong as usual. The police thus handcuffed her, shackled her and force-fed her.

It was reported that practitioners Han Yong and Liu Yun distributed Dafa truth-clarification CDs to their former teachers and classmates at their wedding party. They were reported by a classmate and consequently arrested by Beijing police (reported on Minghui Net). A few days before, they were illegally sentenced to forced labor camp for 18 months. Han is detained at the Beijing Xinan Female Forced Labor Camp and Liu is in the dispatch department of Beijing's Daxingtuanhe Forced Labor Camp. There, they endure various physical and mental tortures including sleep deprivation.
8. [South China] Breaking News: "Falun Dafa Day" Declared in a Southern City.
On January 25, 2002, Falun Gong practitioners from a southern city solemnly proposed to set February 4, 2002, the day when spring begins (in the Chinese lunar calendar) as "Falun Dafa Day" there. To celebrate "Falun Dafa Day," practitioners used activities to validate Dafa and eliminate the evil. In the early morning, practitioners went out to hang Dafa banners, put up Dafa posters, distributed Dafa flyers into mailboxes, etc.
On February 3, many big Dafa banners were hung at busy areas in the city, on major streets and avenues, as well as in residential areas. Until 9:00am, Dafa banners could still be found on major streets.
Before and after that, truth-clarification posters, flyers and CDs were distributed all over the city, which manifested the power of Dafa.
