(Clearwisdom.net) Wang Yunman, Female, around 46, is a former employee of the Shijiazhuang plastics factory. She has a daughter in high school and an elderly mother-in-law who badly needs care. She used to have many physical ailments, and they all cleared up after she started to practice Falun Gong. She went to Beijing four times to appeal, and has been detained 11 times. She went on hunger strike 6 times to protest illegal detention by police.
On October 17, 1999, she went to Beijing to appeal, and was arrested while sitting on Tiananmen Square. Police tortured her with "Carrying a Sword in the Back" [The practitioner's hands are tied behind her back with one hand over the shoulder and the other hand against the lower back. The police then apply a great deal of force to pull the two hands toward one another and handcuff the two hands together] to force her to tell them her address, and then policemen from the Gexin police station of Shijiazhuang city escorted her back. One thousand and eight hundred Yuan [Chinese currency, the average urban worker earns about 500 Yuan per month] was illegally taken from her by the police head Qiao Zhimin (now working at the Xinhua Branch of the public security bureau), and she was detained for 30 days.
On December 6, 1999, she went to the Appeals Bureau of the central committee office to clarify the truth of Dafa, but was blocked at the door and illegally detained for 15 days. She was released after she went on a hunger strike for 8 days.
Three days later, local policemen arrested her again. Her work unit, the Shijiazhuang plastics factory, escorted her back and confined her there. On December 30, 1999, a member of her family went to ask for her and she was released. On the same day, she was expelled from the Party.
On December 31, 1999, she went to Beijing to appeal again, was handcuffed for two hours and then escorted back by her work unit. She was then sent to the 2nd Detention Center of Shijiazhuang city and detained for 30 days. She went on a hunger strike for 4 days in protest.
On February 28, 2000, she was arrested on Tiananmen Square and handcuffed at Shijiazhuang city's liaison office in Beijing for about 12 hours. She was confined by her work unit for 7 days and subsequently fired. Her whole family had to rely on her husband's pension for a living.
On March 2000, local policemen detained her without any reason. She went on a hunger strike for 5 days, and was released under the repeated request of her family members.
On May 4, 2000, she was arrested by the Xinhua street police station for practicing Falun Gong outdoors, and then transferred to the Gexin street police station. She went on a hunger strike for 7 days in protest.
On May 13, 2000, she intended to go to Beijing to appeal but was intercepted at the Shijiazhuang railway station. In the evening of May 14, Zhao Zhiqiang, the deputy head of the Gexin street police station, together with policemen Liu Yazhang and Sun, tortured her for three days. She fainted many times during that period. When she fainted, the policemen would pour hot water on her to wake her up and continue torturing her. She was detained for 28 days, and then Liu Yazhan extorted 500 Yuan from her family before releasing her.
In the evening of June 30, 2000, policemen tricked her into going to the local police station under the pretext of wanting to talk with her. She went on a hunger strike for three days, and was bailed out by the local residential committee. Four days later, she was abducted to the police station again and illegally detained for 7 days. She went on a 7 day hunger strike and was released on July 14. Another 4 days later, policemen arrested and detained her for 8 days. She was released when a family member went to ask for her.
In October 2000, policemen harassed her in her home. She was forced to leave home to avoid further persecution, but policemen still kept harassing her family.
It's said that Wang Yunman was abducted to the Shijiazhuang 2nd Detention Center in the summer of 2001 when she was clarifying the truth of Dafa to people.
On February 10, 2002, Wang Yunman, together with Dafa practitioners Zhang Shijun, Niu Mingang, Yang Xiaojie (all detained at the Shijiazhuang 2nd Detention Center), Lan Qizhi(detained at Zhending County Detention Center), Shi Yan, Zhang Linjiang, Liu Runling (all three detained at the Shijiazhuang First Detention Center) were arrested by the Qioaoxi district procurate.
In January 2002, Wang Yunman started a hunger strike to resist the evil persecution against them. A long-term hunger strike put her into a critical situation. On September 9, 2002, a very thin Wang Yunman and the above 8 Dafa practitioners were illegally brought to trial by the Qiaoxi district court. Since the 9 Dafa practitioners had very strong righteous thoughts, the trial ended without a conclusion.
It's said that Wang has been almost tortured to death. To shirk their responsibility, the policemen claimed that she had already been released, but her family hadn't received any news from her. It's unknown where she is or even if she is still alive.
Zhao Zhiqiang, the deputy head of the Gexin street police station, is extremely cruel and inhumane. Zhao recently contracted a strange, painful disease. We want to remind those who persecute Dafa practitioners that they will be punished by the heavenly law if they don't stop in time and make up for their mistakes.
