Righteous Thoughts and Righteous Actions

The following are my stories of how I began practicing Falun Dafa and my experiences in participating in the Fa-rectification. From April 25 to July 20, 1999, all of China was in terror. I thought that the government must have made a mistake. Even I, who did not practice Falun Dafa at that time, knew that Falun Dafa was good. I wanted to stand up and speak out for justice. On December 8, 2000, I went to Beijing. Policemen seized me in Tiananmen Square. They beat me, cursed me, and insulted me. After that, I decided to practice Falun Dafa.

On July 19, 2001, I went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa and was arrested. After being on a hunger strike for 7 days, I was released. I was forced to leave home to avoid further persecution. On January 1, 2002, my 5-year-old daughter wanted to go to Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa, so I took her there. We were arrested on the train on the way to Beijing. My daughter appeared to be very sick, so the police released her. I was sentenced to 3 years in a forced labor camp without any legal procedure. I went on a hunger strike for more than 20 days and walked out of the labor camp under Teacher's benevolent protection.

In July 1999, the evil started the immense persecution of Falun Dafa. I thought to myself, even if my body was smashed to pieces, I would not go back to my previous dirty way of life. In June 2000, I went to a public park to openly practice Falun Gong. Local police officers arrested me and held me in a detention center. I let go of the fear of life and death, and walked out of there 10 days later. In the spring of 2001, I was once again abducted and detained in a brainwashing center. I refused to give in; instead, I clarified the facts about Falun Dafa to the jail guards and those who were in charge of "educating" me. They told me that I had to write something before I could go home. I thus wrote a statement saying, "Falun Dafa is good." Fifteen days later, I was set free. Later on, they even used this to deceive other practitioners saying, "Even he wrote a guarantee statement, why don't you write one too?"
