They brought up the fact that thousands of Falun Gong practitioners were persecuted to death and are being detained in detention centers. Falun Gong's exercises sparked many drivers' interest as they drove by the protest areas.
People's Hearts Are Awakening
Once I told a famous lawyer in Shandong Province the truth about the persecution of Falun Gong. She said she knew a practitioner working in a factory in Qingdao City who had his working contract terminated because he practiced Falun Gong, but still worked diligently in the factory without pay. The lawyer said she didn't understand how there could be such a good person on this earth. I further clarified the truth about the persecution to her. She was indignant and said the day when the trial of Jiang's regime came, she would like to take part and uphold justice for Falun Gong practitioners.
The police officers in Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province used the master key that allowed access to practitioners' apartments to break in and kidnap Falun Gong practitioners at will. Recently, the master key fell into the hands of robbers. Several robberies have thus taken place. On August 20, almost all the residences in three buildings in a community near the railway were robbed. The robbers claimed that they had to break in because some people reported Falun Gong practitioners lived there. The lack of distinction between police actions and robbery has brought disaster to local residents.
