At about 8:00 a.m. on October 16, 2002, a group of policemen from the Taishan District Police Department arrived in three cars, broke into Dafa practitioner Yang Chengyuan's home and forcibly took away Dafa books and truth-clarifying materials. At about 10:00 a.m. the policemen tried to take Yang Chengyuan away, but Yang refused and shouted, "Falun Dafa is good!" He firmly denounced the policemen's illegal behavior. At this time, the gathered crowd also said angrily, "You don't arrest criminals, while singling out and arresting good people. What are you doing?" The policemen were ashamed, and they became furious and quite flustered. They had some hired thugs forcibly carry Yang into the car and sent him to Feicheng City for detention.
At 3:00 p.m. the same day, the policemen of the city's "610 Office" and some related personnel from Caiyuan Police Precinct broke into the city's Muslim Secondary School and forcibly arrested Dafa practitioner Liu Zhenming, a teacher who just finished class. (The 610 Office is an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political or judicial systems.) They also went to search Liu's house and confiscated Dafa books and truth-clarifying materials. The policemen tried to rob the 10000 Yuan school tuition of Liu's son, but Liu stopped them. Later, Dafa practitioner Liu Zhenming was forcibly detained at the Caiyuan Police Precinct. On October 17, Liu Zhenming was sent to Taishan District Administration Detention Center.

Policemen Liu Dongfang, Wang Xiaoqiang and Wang Mengkuan from the Political and Security Section of Bazhou County's Police Department brutally beat Dafa practitioners. They severely injured a 70-year-old woman's eyes, and they have beaten almost all of the Dafa practitioners in Baozhou County.

1. They know that after a group of practitioners are arrested, another group of practitioners will go there to rebuild the material production site. So they keep track of sites that they have raided before.
2. They know that we have a group of practitioners who devote themselves to making truth-clarifying materials. Most of them are relatively young and they are put on the wanted list .
3. One method the secret agents use is to not arrest all the practitioners they can, but let one or a few go, allowing them rebuild the material production center with others. They then follow the people they let go to monitor our activities.
4. Once they consider one practitioner to be the coordinator, they will use all kinds of means to track him or her. They will call in agents from the Public Security Bureau, a large number of plainclothes police and uniformed policemen to monitor one practitioner around the clock using high-tech instruments. However, their primary method for surveillance is still using agents to follow the practitioners.
