Members of the "610 Office" in Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province have gone berserk in persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners prior to the commencement of the 16th Congress of the Chinese Communist Party. [The "610 Office" is an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems.] They are now focused on the Aimin District and on Linkou County. A site where Falun Gong materials were created has been damaged, and Falun Dafa practitioner Ning Jun has been arrested.
2. [Hengyang City, Hunan Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Wu Defu Is Arrested
Late in the evening of November 27th, several police officers broke into Falun Dafa practitioner Wu Defu's home and forcibly took him away. Wu's whereabouts are still unknown at the moment. We Defu, male, over 60 years old, was a retired employee of the Rail Car Division of the Hengyang Railroad Bureau.
It was also reported that on September 20th, Wu Ruiyun, Ou Dilong and several other Falun Dafa practitioners, who had been illegally held in the Wangjiawan Detention Center in Hengyang City, were suddenly transferred to other facilities. The police did not notify their families about the transfer. Practitioners' family members have been anxious and have been trying to locate them. Among the practitioners, 49-year-old Wu Ruiyun has been illegally held in custody for over half a year. His wife, Lei Yingqun who is also a Falun Dafa practitioner, was sentenced to four years in prison on September 2, leaving their teenaged daughter at home all by herself.

Just before China's National Day on October 1st, the police in Anshan City of Liaoning Province have been following, monitoring, and abducting Falun Dafa practitioners. Several practitioners have already been arrested. A new round of persecution has begun. The Falun Dafa practitioners who have served their terms in forced labor camps still have not been released. They have either been sent to brainwashing centers or have been given illegally extended forced labor terms. The police also planned to conduct illegal searches at Falun Dafa practitioners' homes for Falun Gong books. Furthermore, they are also making other criminal plans in preparation for the 16th Congress of the Chinese Communist Party.
4. [Shaoyang City, Hunan Province] Shaoyang City Officials Forcibly Place Several Falun Dafa Practitioners under Illegal Arrest
Law-breaking officials in Shaoyang City of Hunan Province have gone on a rampage in persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners during the "sensitive dates" of the October 1 National Day and the commencement of the 16th Congress of the Chinese Communist Party. At 3:00 a.m. in the early morning of September 19th, officials broke into Falun Dafa practitioners' homes to carry out illegal searches and abductions. It is known so far that the following Falun Dafa practitioners have been taken away: Wang Guanghui, Huang Xinhua, Yuan Qiuju (female), Tang Xiaoxing, Zhao Jianguo, Luo Tongchun, Zeng Guanghui, Yin Lianying (female), and Hu Guilan (female).

5. [Southwestern China] Falun Dafa Practitioners in a Southwestern City Hold a Fa Conference
On September 22, 2002, Falun Dafa practitioners in a southwestern city successfully held a small-scale Fa conference in a park. Practitioners who attended the Fa conference exchanged experiences and understandings in the process of thoroughly and comprehensively telling the public about the facts of Falun Gong.
