In March of 2001, I was kidnapped and sent to the Heizhuizi Labor Camp in Chuangchun City. On the second day, I was taken to an interrogation room. First, an officer forced me to write a "guarantee statement." Since I refused to do so, about 6 female officers ganged up and violently beat me. They slapped my face, kicked me and shocked me with electric batons. They also cursed me with slanderous words. One hour later, I still did not write the statement. So they took me out of the interrogation room and asked those "helpers" [Note: the helpers are usually former practitioners who have given up practicing Falun Gong and gone astray due to brainwashing and torture by Jiang Zemin's regime] to brainwash me. These "helpers" attempted to forcibly brainwash me into having doubts and incorrect thoughts. I was prohibited from sleeping and punished by being forced to remain standing. In this position, I stood a long time until I fainted, and fell to the floor, at 2:00 AM the next day.

The third day I was brought into the interrogation room again. Because I would rather die than give in to them, those female officers brutally beat me as they did the day before. They also yelled, "If you do not give up Falun Gong, we'll beat you to death. Or, we can simply put you through so much pain you'll wish you were dead." After they stopped beating, they asked "helpers" to talk with me, not allowing me to sleep at night. I suffered those physical and mental tortures almost every day in the labor camp.

Later on I protested their tortures and brainwashing by conducting a hunger strike. As a result, I suffered from their barbarous force-feedings. After this, I was shocked with electric batons and had both of my hands cuffed to the bed. They tortured me in this way for an entire week.

Officer Li Tong often ordered subordinate staff members to brutally beat those practitioners who held firmly to Falun Gong. In addition, she also attempted to cover the truth of her persecution of practitioners by hypocritical and deceitful means.

One such occurrence was that of a practitioner who was locked into a 'small cell' and cuffed to iron bars by the officers. Already on a hunger strike for more than 10 days, in her weakened condition, she was still brutally force-fed everyday.

Yet throughout these trials, many practitioners still kept their firm belief in Falun Gong. Because they refused to write down various statements, they were prohibited from meeting with or contacting their family members.

I hereby disclose those crimes committed by officers of the Heizhuizi Labor Camp and strongly warn them to stop their persecution of Falun Gong practitioners.
