A butcher's knife is hanging above the heads of the Chinese people. Recently, the number of Falun Gong practitioners who have died at the hands of government authorities has increased in a short period of time. The evil brainwashes or simply "eliminates the human body" of those who dare expose their lies. If everybody can further spread the truth to their relatives and friends, then the day when the lies of the evil group becomes shattered will be the day that the evil that persecutes Dafa is completely destroyed.

The Truth Saves People
On the eve of New Year's Day, the leaders of the work unit and the public security bureau once again came to my home to visit me. I took this opportunity to clarify the truth to them. Finally, before leaving, they showed some kindness and said, "You can just practice at home, don't go out." I was enlightened to that, if we get rid of selfish ideas and distracting thoughts and get rid of fear, the righteous thoughts and enlightenment of Dafa will be stronger. If we speak from the perspective of Dafa at all times, we will have more confidence and good effects.
I went to a friend Xiao Hong's home to give her a truth-clarifying CD, but she happened to be eating with her friends and did not want to watch. While I was playing the CD, I told my son who was one year and five months old, "please send forth the righteous thoughts together with Mom." A lady came over to play with my son, I heard her say, "This child is pointing to the TV and wants me to watch." Xiao Hong's friends all came over to watch the truth-clarifying CD and I used the wisdom obtained from Dafa to answer their questions and clarify their misconceptions.
I clarified the truth about Falun Gong to my neighbor, but she always had doubts about it. A photo of my 5-month-old daughter showed a multicolor circle and the neighbor was very surprised to see it. I mentioned the legends of the Eight Deities and Noah's Ark and told her that the Falun Dafa book talks about these types of things. This time, she showed great interest and earnestly asked to read the book. She said that she would ask her husband to read the book also.

Today, 176 people published solemn declarations stating that all their past words and actions due to the evil's persecution, and that didn't conform to Dafa are completely void. From now on, they will cultivate with determination, completely negate the arrangements made by the evil and become real practitioners worthy of the name Dafa disciple. They will double their efforts in making up for the loss they caused to Dafa and keep up with the Fa-rectification progress!
Falun stuns the cosmos; justice exists in the universe - on January 1, 2002, on the "Second Falun Dafa Family Fa Experience Sharing Meeting," a person, the only non-practitioner in a family of eight wrote, "In my eyes, Zhuan Falun is a book from heaven, and it is a magic book that can save all beings."
17 examples of practitioners in Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province who were illegally detained, brutally tortured and extorted out of money: Vicious policeman Yuan Hailong at Jiamusi City Detention Center pinned a female practitioner against the wall by grabbing her hair and gripping her neck. He then violently hit her with an iron key; a vicious policeman named Gao brutally beat a female practitioner who is over 50-year-old until her chest and back were swollen and festered.
A female doctor, also a Dafa practitioner, in Northeast China wrote to international organizations, "I suffered inhumane tortures only because I shouted 'Falun Dafa is good' in Tiananmen Square. I was brutally beaten at Tiananmen Branch Police Department and Haidian District Police Department on numerous occasions, resulting in complete loss of sight in my left eye. I also lost control of my bladder and bowel. My weight declined from 57.5 Kg [about 127 pounds] to a pitiful 40 Kg [about 88 pounds], and I was not released until I was on the verge of death.
Dafa practitioner Gao Hongjie, a former teacher at Electronic Teaching Section of the Advanced Technical School in Weifang City, Shandong Province was illegally detained, then sent to a detention center and mental institution by his school for appealing. Zhao Guangqiang, the deputy Party secretary of the school beat Gao Hongjie numerous times and tortured him both physically and mentally. Zhao even shouted, "The government has the order, it's OK to beat you as long you have a breath left!"
The story of a family persecuted by a security bureau in Liaoning Province. The son was sent to a forced labor camp after being imprisoned for six months. The daughter was kidnapped and detained for six months. Later, both the father and the daughter were sent to the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp. The police extorted a total of 16,000 Yuan from this family.
Policemen Feng Zhibin, Li Chongtao, Zhang Jiabin, and Ma Yong handcuffed practitioners in iron chairs and brutally beat them. The policemen shocked the practitioners' faces, chests, the soles of their feet and private areas with electric batons. Qiao Peng has become mentally unstable as a result of the ordeal. The Central Investigation Unit attempted to use this mental disorder case to defame Dafa. However, Qiao's family strongly resisted and would not let them have their way.
In memory of Fu Chunsheng. In July 1999, a few thousand practitioners who appealed to the government were arrested and sent to brainwashing classes. When a television program showed Teacher's picture, all the practitioners applauded. The police beat them right away. The department head yelled, "Now who wants to applaud again?" Fu stood up and applauded fearlessly. Fu was not a tall person, yet at that moment he stood like a giant.

Singaporean practitioners wrote an open letter to the Chinese communities outside of China. The following is an excerpt:
While the Tiananmen Square Massacre is still fresh in people's memories, the Chinese authorities are actively persecuting Falun Gong. They are following the structure adopted in the Cultural Revolution and introduced the "610 Office." They have undoubtedly surpassed the leading figures of the Cultural Revolution in the use of violence and vicious tactics.

News from Overseas
January 9, 2002, Central News Agency, NY: Falun Gong practitioner Peng Liang is currently detained in Wuhan City, Hubei Province. In July 2001, Peng sued Zhao Zhifei, the Vice Chairman of the Public Security Department of Hubei Province, in a US Court. After Zhao received the subpoena, he hurried back to Mainland China the next day. He started searching for Peng Liang and arrested many Falun Gong practitioners at once.
The Falun Gong Times interviewed Mrs. Wei, a lady with serious cancer. Four of her organs had been removed. In 1996 doctors told her that she could only live as long as half a year. But 5 years have passed and she is healthier than ever. It is Falun Dafa that miraculously gave her life.

Stories of Fa-Rectification and Cultivation
I was illegally sent to the brainwashing class by the "610 Office" and the police station. I did not cooperate with any of the evil's demands and I clarified the truth about Falun Gong. I sent forth righteous thoughts so that my family would not cooperate with the evil's demands either, and faced the evil with a righteous mind all the time in order to eliminate the bad factors controlling the people. I was sent home after I started a hunger strike, abstaining from both food and water.
Clarifying the Truth in the Grocery Market: In the morning of December 29, 2001 a Falun Gong practitioner who is a vegetable vendor was arrested. On the way from the market to the police station, he clarified the truth about Falun Gong righteously to everyone, exposing the viciousness, eliminating the evil with a righteous mind and rectifying all of the incorrect behaviors and concepts of those around him.
Falun Gong practitioner Xiaolan in Changchun City, Jilin Province was suddenly arrested by four policemen when at work. Xiaolan criticized their vicious behaviors with righteous thoughts and was kidnapped. In the police station, Xiaolan did not cooperate with the requirements of the vicious ones and spread Dafa to them. Xiaolan's husband also came to the police station and said righteously, "I came here to take my wife home!" Then the couple walked home.
