To raise awareness about the persecution in China, practitioners from Seattle, Portland and Eugene gathered at Corvallis, Oregon and held a conference on Saturday, September 1 from 11 a.m. to noon in front of Corvallis City Hall. Practitioners gave a press statement calling on the kindhearted people to voice their concerns on the human rights issue in China. City government officials, a State Senate candidate and a local yoga instructor attended the conference and delivered speeches condemning Chinese government abuse of human rights.
