(Clearwisdom.net) In Xinmengzhuang Village of Nuanquan Town, Wei County, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, Falun Gong practitioners can get detained or beaten at any time for any reason, even when they are at home doing nothing. One midnight in January 2001, a group of officials from the local village and town suddenly forced kindhearted Falun Gong practitioners to come to a production brigade. This was the beginning of a brainwashing class for those practitioners in the village.
On the third day, the class was moved to a school. That night, the village Secretary of the XX Party, Zhang, the Deputy Director of the town, Cong Jinjun, and a man named Yao, irrationally began to slander and curse Falun Dafa practitioners. They didn't leave until they finished venting their anger.
On the fourth day, secretary Zhang, Director Cong and the director of the Bai Shusheng Police Station came to make trouble again. Zhang had two men from the Judicial Department beat Zhang Dun and Zhang Gen who hadn't started practicing Falun Gong. The scene was too horrible to look at and a woman nearby with heart disease was so scared it looked like she was going to pass out. Only when they saw this did the mob stop the beatings.
On the fifth day, the scoundrels forced another three people who hadn't started practicing Falun Gong to come to the school. They forced the families of the practitioners to give 150 Yuan to "bail" people out. The families had to give the money for fear that the practitioners would get beaten if they didn't. One old lady said, "I don't practice Falun Gong, I won't give you any money." A village official named Yao immediately started cursing the old lady like a mad man. The old lady kept weeping and one villager was frightened and shaking. Seeing the commotion this was causing, the flustered officials left.
Secretary Zhang yelled into the class: "I represent Jiang Zemin. Beating Falun Gong practitioner to death counts for nothing!"
In this way, they detained practitioners for 25 days. Moreover, they confiscated practitioners' TV sets, recorders, and took real estate certificates as a pledge before they allowed practitioners to go home.
This is what truly happened in the brainwashing class; it was filled with violence, cheating and extortion.
The evil will always be punished. Before long, Secretary Zhang was accused of embezzlement and was discharged from his post and XX Party membership. Please support kindhearted Falun Gong practitioners -- if everybody lends a hand, the power of justice will be strengthened.
