The following pictures were taken on Sept. 4th, 2001, outside the main entrance of the U.N. World Conference Against Racism in Durban, South Africa. About 14,000 people attended the conference. Hundreds of government officials, NGO delegates, media and everyday people stopped by to watch the exercise demonstrations and to read our truth-clarifying poster boards. Many people were shocked by the persecution in China and several people learned the exercises. Several local and international TV reporters and photographers stopped by to take pictures. While one photographer was taking pictures of practitioners doing exercise #3, a small African boy walked up to the practitioners and started to follow along on his own. The photographer took several pictures and said that this was his "shot of the day", since he had seen the boy begging for money earlier and now he was doing Chinese exercises with a westerner. This incident proved that Dafa is truly universal and that it transcends all ethnic and racial differences.
