One day a practitioner told us about an exciting scene. An airplane flew over a small town and dropped many Dafa flyers. Many townsmen picked them up. This incident caused a great shock. People said, "Falun Dafa is really powerful!" Dafa practitioners are helping to create a magnificent and bright future for the universe under the direction of our compassionate and great Teacher.

We pay our respects to fellow practitioners who are working with government and media silently and tenaciously. We pay our respects to the practitioners who are promoting benevolence, eliminating evil, clarifying the truth, and saving worldly people in various environments!

[Huaiyang City, Henan Province] Vicious Policemen Arrest a 15-year-old Girl and Hold Her Hostage

A practitioner in Huaiyang did not cooperate with the evil, persisted with righteous faith, and refused to go to a brainwashing class. Therefore he was forced to leave his home to avoid persecution and wander about.

On a winter evening in 2000, vicious policemen went to his home hoping to arrest him. His family members resisted the illegal action. His daughter, who was sleeping, was awakened by their noisy interference. She acted bravely and reasoned with the police. These policemen became angry. They grabbed the 15-year-old girl and dragged her into a police car by force. It was wintertime and the girl was only dressed in her underclothes.

Where are basic human rights? Where is the law? Where is freedom?

[Jilin City, Jilin Province] Two Practitioners from Jilin Are Detained in Beijing

Zhong Zhiwei walked on foot to Beijing after evading the monitor sent by his work unit and the street committee. After walking for one month he arrived at Beijing and assisted Teacher to rectify Fa in front of Tiananmen Square. Later, Beijing policemen arrested him. Jiang Ruigang, a practitioner in the same work unit with Zhong, was also detained and sent to a reeducation labor camp in Beijing. He had unfurled banners on Tiananmen Square. Jilin City sent someone to Beijing to bring them back. However, Beijing refused to release them. We hope that kindhearted people everywhere will pay attention to this issue.

I went to visit a Dafa practitioner on Sunday. Since the beginning of the persecution, he has been listed as a core person to be put under surveillance. Therefore he stopped Fa study. Once someone asked him, "Are you still practicing Falun Gong?" He replied without thinking, "No." That night, when he went to the bathroom, he could not urinate no matter how hard he tried. The next day he felt blocked and his whole body became swollen. His family sent for a doctor. The catheterization did not work. The medicine fell to the ground and could not be found. At this time he became enlightened on this issue, "I have said something wrong." He eliminated his karma during this suffering and recovered gradually.

A few days later someone asked him again, "How are you doing? Are you still practicing Falun Gong?" He replied, "What situation is it at present? How can I practice it?"

After returning home, he found that his limbs were not under his control. His family sent for a doctor again and they wanted to give him an infusion. However, the nurse who had always been good at finding veins, could not insert the needle after trying three times. He thought, "If I cannot have an infusion, just let me have one injection." After this thought, the nurse successfully stuck the needle into his flesh. Later, after returning home, he thought, "I was wrong again today. Why did I make two mistakes in a row?" He checked himself carefully and realized that he had not studied Fa diligently for a long time. He had been separated from Dafa, without realizing it. At night, he and his wife took the Dafa books out from their hiding place and studied the Fa.

After seeing me, he said, "After these two incidents, I understand. The Teacher has always been looking after me! I don't know how to express my gratitude to Teacher. I must study Fa more diligently in the future so that Teacher won't have to worry about me anymore."

[Xiangcheng, Henan Province] Crimes Committed Against Falun Gong Practitioners by a Party Leader

On July 20, 2000 Falun Gong practitioner Li Xin appealed in Tiananmen Square. Police arrested him and took him to the Zhoukou Government's Liaison Office in Beijing where Liu Shiyu, the Party Secretary of Xinqiao Town, and Gong Minli, the director of the Xinqiao Town Police Station, recognized him. They handcuffed Li Xin's hands behind his back and started to torture him by slapping his face, beating him with a belt, and kicking him with leather boots. As a result, Li's nose and mouth were bleeding and his body covered with bruises. They used all means of torture attempting to force him to reveal information about Falun Gong.

Sending him away under escort, they cuffed Li's hands behind his back and did not give him any food and water. Li's hands were cuffed so tightly the skin was cut and the nerves damaged. His hands were paralyzed for more than two weeks.

On July 25, 2000, a brainwashing class was held in Xinqiao Town. In a meeting, they forced Li Xin and another practitioner to "show up." In order to humiliate them they were brought in handcuffs and forced to stand before town officials, all village party secretaries and dozens of Falun Gong practitioners. Liu and Gong showed Li's wounds and told a lie that Li had been beaten by Beijing police. They also slandered Falun Gong and the founder of Falun Dafa and forced Falun Gong practitioners to do the same. They threatened to send practitioners to jail if the practitioners refused to obey them.

Police and governmental officers from Xinqiao Town break into Falun Gong practitioners' homes at will. They search practitioners' houses, confiscate their property, and monitor and tail them.

[Ba Prefecture, Xinjiang Province] Crimes by The Police Against Falun Gong Practitioners

Since July 7, 2001, police in Ba Prefecture, Xinjiang Province have intensified their persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. They have arrested more than ten practitioners. They are: Qiu Nenping, Li Xiuju, Zhao Lanxin, Lan(female, full name unknown), Zhou Qi, Fan Baomin, Yang Lili and her sister, Xu Cuiping, Wu Hui, Zhen (female, full name unknown).

Even after being brutally tortured by police, Lan, Qiu Nenping and Li Xiuju declared that they wouldn't give up cultivation of Falun Gong. Lan refused to tell anything and went on a hunger strike. Police isolated her and forced her to stay under the burning sun for three days. The situation of the other practitioners is unknown.

We appeal to all kind-hearted people in the world, please use all means to stop the brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners by the Jiang Zemin regime.

[Chengdu, Sichuan Province] Three Practitioners Escape Danger

The three Falun Gong practitioners Huang, Chen Lan, and her mother were sending strong righteous thoughts after they knew police would arrest them or take them to a police station. They successfully escaped danger. This happened in Heping Street Police Station, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province.

Now police are closely monitoring their houses in Chengdu and Tianhui Town day and night. All their neighbors have known that police have slept in a car during the night in order to try to catch Falun Gong practitioners.

Diao Xiuying was "transformed" in a brainwashing class in Xicheng District, Beijing. Since then she has committed many evil deeds for which the Jiang Zemin regime has rewarded her. We are warning Diao, please wake up and avoid danger at the last moment. Otherwise she will soon receive retribution.

[Weifang, Shandong Province] The Evil Criminal Sun Xianzheng

Sun Xianzheng is the director of the "610" office of Kuiwen District, Weifang City, Shandong Province. Since July 20, 1999, he has being active in persecuting Falun Gong practitioners in the Weifang area. He shamelessly boasted that he had started to collect intelligence about Falun Gong in 1995 and that he had sent so many into the reeducation labor camps. As a result of his actions, many Falun Gong practitioners are suffering in jails, detention centers and labor camps; many practitioners have been forced to become destitute and homeless; many families have been broken.

During last Autumn, Sun visited the Masanjia Labor Camp and there learned more vicious means of persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. After he came back from Weifang City, he applied to the city government several times to establish a brainwashing class. Finally he began running Kiuwen Brainwashing Class. Colluding with police, the Neighborhood Administration office and workplaces, he kidnapped Falun Gong practitioners from their homes or on while on the road. In return for persecuting Falun Gong practitioners, he was rewarded by the government. However, his first accomplices left the brainwashing class because they could not divide the spoils equally. Another group of mercenary and heartless people has joined his brainwashing class and are plotting to intensify the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners.
