July 2, 2001, absolutely peaceful protesters marched from Buergerreuther Ave., passed Railroad Ave., and ended at Bayreuth square. Bayreuth is the first stop of the SOS action in Germany. The SOS action is designed to raise awareness of the persecution of Falun Gong in China and to call for urgent rescue of Falun Gong practitioners persecuted in China.
