Opening Remarks to the 2001 Nordic Falun Dafa Experience Sharing Conference

Greetings, our honorable Teacher! Greetings, fellow practitioners!

The 2001 Northern Europe Falun Dafa Experience Sharing Conference now begins!

First, on behalf of all the Falun Gong disciples in Northern Europe, please allow us to convey our highest respect to Teacher! Please allow us to send our highest regards to the fellow practitioners who have given their lives to safeguard Dafa and to all the practitioners from all over the world who have been able to let go of ordinary human mentalities and use a variety of methods to clarify the truth and expose the evil! In addition, please allow us to express our warmest welcome to our fellow practitioners from all over the world who have traveled a long way to be here with us today!

All of us feel fortunate to be able to attend this Falun Dafa Experience Sharing Conference only a month after the nine-year anniversary of Dafa's introduction to the public. Even now, many of us can still vividly recall details of Master Li's visit to Gothenburg six years ago. Today, Falun Dafa has spread to more than 40 countries throughout the world.

We remember from the depths of our being, how under the guidance of our Teacher, we were able to begin our journey back to our true homes. We can never forget how we have been transformed from lost ordinary human beings to Dafa disciples established in the process of Fa-rectification. In this grand period of Fa rectifying the Cosmos, we are part of an immense struggle between benevolence and evil that has never been seen in the history of the universe. We are witnesses to history in the making. Being able to participate in eliminating the evil and rectifying the Fa is our most sacred honor.

Our fellow practitioners in China have erected a monument to Dafa in the human world with their lives. Yet the evil persecution of Dafa and its disciples continues, the evil within the Three Realms has not been completely eliminated, and our cultivation is still in progress. Let us truly follow the direction of Master Li, "Validate the Fa with reason, clarify the truth with wisdom, spread the Fa and offer people salvation with benevolence" and fulfill our most solemn promise made long ago. Let us not squander tens of thousands of years of waiting and waste everything Teacher has gone through for the sake of our salvation. Let us remind ourselves to keep pace with the Fa-rectification process and steadfastly take our final steps in cultivation. Let each of us do justice to the sacred name of "Dafa disciple," and proudly become great, enlightened beings.

With open hearts, let us hear of the journeys of our fellow practitioners. Captured within each ordinary yet magnificent story of cultivation is our common will: "Making a wish to save sentient beings, Assisting Teacher in his journey in this world." The awe-inspiring deeds and selfless benevolence of Dafa disciples in protecting the Fa have kindled one voice from all sentient beings in the universe, "The Fa rectifies the Cosmos, the Evil is completely eliminated."
