[Beijing] A Banner Appears on Tiananmen Square

At 5 o'clock sharp on the afternoon of June 3, two Dafa practitioners in Tiananmen Square unfolded a banner. After doing so they were dragged into a police car. Between 5:00 and 7:10 p.m., many practitioners came to Tiananmen Square, silently reciting in their minds the verse that Teacher often uses. They effectively eliminated the evil.

[Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] The Word "Against" Falls To The Floor Slowly

On the afternoon of May 31, a "Theatrical Performance Against Falun Gong" was being held in the meeting room on the first floor of the municipal government building in Daqing city, Heilongjiang province. It was requested that the leaders in each work unit take some everyday people and Falun Gong practitioners to attend. Most Falun Gong practitioners didn't cooperate and refused to attend. They firmly kept Teacher's words in mind, "Dafa Disciples' Righteous Thoughts Are Powerful," and all sent forth the righteous thought: "The Fa rectifies the cosmos, the Evil is completely eliminated." They decisively eradicated all the evil damaging Dafa!

At 2 o'clock in the afternoon, right after the performance had just started, the word "Against" on the banner hung in the meeting room fell to the floor slowly. And the banner became "Falun Gong Theatrical Performance," which led the audience to laugh uproariously. Some said openly, "Falun Gong disciples are sending forth their Gong."

The audience felt disgusted at the sheer nonsense of this slandering and vulgar performance. After nearly two years of "struggle" with Falun Gong, the overwhelming majority of everyday people already have a good understanding of Falun Gong and won't blindly believe the lies and charges fabricated against it. Many in the audience intended to leave ahead of time, but their leaders were watching the door. They had to endure the performance until the end. Some said that it was even worse than the shows put on by street performers.

[Beijing City] Zhao Ming Has Been Firmly Cultivating Dafa In Jail

Zhao Ming, who had been studying in Ireland, is now being secretly detained in the Daxing Tuanhe Labor Camp of Beijing. He has continually been cultivating Dafa firmly, with righteous beliefs and thoughts, even while in jail. The practitioner who brought the news out of the jail hopes that this news will reach Zhao Ming's family members and that people of good will, governmental organizations and non-governmental organizations from around the world will work together and help to have Zhao Ming released.

One By One, Those Who Have Mistakenly Been Reformed State Their Determination to Cultivate in Falun Dafa Again

Ever since Teacher's new articles "Coercion Cannot Change People's Hearts" and "Suggestion" reached a labor camp in Mainland China, most of the practitioners who had mistakenly accepted the so-called "reformation" have woken up. Over 80 people have made formal statements to the jail that they have begun to cultivate Falun Dafa again. Some of these had once seriously enlightened along an evil path and had been the pioneers in damaging Dafa by attacking Dafa on TV or spreading bad influence in many places. But they have almost all realized their mistakes and sincerely rectified their errors by making statements to the authorities of the jail that they have firmly come back to the ranks of Dafa cultivation practice. This has radically destroyed the last means of sabotaging Dafa employed by the evil forces. At present, the authorities of the jail are very nervous and allow fewer and fewer family members to visit the practitioners detained there. This is also a manifestation that the end of the evil is coming!

[Lanzhou City, Gansu Province] Falun Manifests Itself in Lanzhou

I'm a Dafa practitioner from Jinchang city of Gansu province. I've seen the manifestation of Falun in Lanzhou city twice, on May and June 1^st respectively.

The sky was extremely blue that day, which is rare in this city well known around the world for its heavy pollution. About 12 o'clock, a colorful ring of light appeared around the sun, about 10 times bigger than the sun in diameter. The ring consists of seven colors---red, orange, yellow, green, dark blue, blue and purple. The most obvious colors are red and purple seen with the naked eye. With a pair of sunglasses on, the seven colors could be seen clearly. Through the celestial eye, a group of Falun could be seen rotating around the sun, and clouds of beautiful yellow light could be seen given off from the center of the sun. The marvelous scene lasted over three hours.

[Lanzhou City, Gansu Province] What happened in Lanzhou on June 3

In the last several months, sand and dust storms have appeared more frequently in the Lanzhou area than they have for many years. Usually the storms come in the evening after 4:00pm. Today was very unusual. The storm appeared at 2:30pm. The beautiful sunny sky suddenly turned dark. An overwhelming number of black clouds appeared in the northwest sky. One cloud had a strange and grotesque shape, totally different from the dark clouds in an ordinary thundershower. A whistling cold wind rolled in ominously. In a moment, sand and dust were flying all over Lanzhou City. It was dark everywhere. Looking out of the window, we could see the cold wind carrying along vast clouds of sand and dust, blowing all over the buildings and trees. Half an hour later, the wind calmed down.

When it came to the second time of sending forth righteous thoughts at 6:00pm, the sky completely cleared up. It didn't rain at all for the remainder of the afternoon.

[Shandong Province] A Splendid, Colorful Ring around the Sun Appears in Qingdao, Jimo And Some Other Areas

On the morning of May 27 and the afternoon of June 3, some practitioners saw a big colorful ring appear around the sun. Both times, it lasted over an hour. It appeared at 12:00-1:30pm on June 3. The color inside the ring was darker than the color outside. It looked like a rainbow. The clearest red light became clearer and clearer, and finally turned into a golden yellow. It was so pretty, set off by the white clouds all around it. The white clouds appeared to be carved out of jade. Some practitioners saw Falun flying and rotating.

These two wondrous sights both appeared on the dates when all Dafa practitioners around the world sent forth righteous thoughts together to eliminate evil and rectify the Fa.

[Yi County, Hebei Province] 10 Dafa Practitioners Go on a Hunger Strike over 7 Days, Yet the Chief of the Public Security Bureau Acts with Utter Disregard for Human Life

The Party secretary of Yi County, Liu Jinyong, violated the law by illegally detaining ten Falun Dafa practitioners, including Wang Fengqin, Li Aimin, Wei Yanmei, Xu Zhenping, Liu Xiuhui, Li Xinu, Bi Wenhua, Hou Shuqin, Yang Hongnu and Chen Fengzhen. They were monitored 24 hours a day. Some Dafa practitioners went on a hunger strike for over 7 days. Liu Jinyong didn't solve the problem within 7 days, and thus violated international law. It was said that the chief of the County Public Security Bureau gave written instructions that the practitioners could not be released even if they starved to death. Wang Fengqin had a fever and vomited, yet was forcibly taken to the county hospital to be force-fed. To our surprise, this inhumane public security officer is about to be promoted. We are only afraid that due retribution is coming very soon.

[Shanxi Province] Dafa Practitioners Illegally Detained in Zaozihe Labor Camp Persist in Cultivating Dafa and Resisting Transformation

In 2001, 13 Falun Gong practitioners detained in Team 1 of Zaozihe Labor Camp, Shanxi Province, refused to be transformed by force. They held a hunger strike together for 7 days. The police in the labor camp tied the practitioners to the bed-boards to force-feed them. They didn't allow the practitioners to use the toilet, and assigned three drug-addicted criminals to monitor each practitioner. As of May 20, Dafa practitioners were still separately locked in different rooms and were not allowed to go outside. They firmly resisted transformation. On March 11, a Falun Gong practitioner from Mei County, Shanxi Province, Lu Guangming, (63 years old) was isolated in a dark and damp room because he firmly refused to be transformed. It has been over 2 months since he was locked in that room. Dafa practitioner Gao Shouhai, a practitioner from Tongchuan Zhang Xiaoni, and a practitioner from Qian County Ge Chang persisted in cultivating Dafa and refused to be transformed. In order to get a transformation bonus, the police asked the drug-addicted prisoners to beat and physically punish Dafa practitioners.

On May 10, a Dafa practitioner from Hancheng, Wei Puyun (the former Patrol Police Team leader of Hancheng Public Security Bureau), and practitioner from Tongchuan, Gan Zhennian (62 years old), made a statement that they would continue cultivating Dafa and firmly refused to be transformed.

Over 80 Dafa practitioners detained in Zaozihe Labor Camp of Shanxi Province, with the exception of 1 person, all stated that they would regard the Fa as Teacher, and "follow Teacher closely, steadfastly cultivating Dafa". They solemnly stated that even in the face of any conceivable torture, Dafa practitioners would be steadfast. They vowed, "We will use our lives to safeguard Dafa with our every action, regard the Fa as Teacher, cultivate steadfastly, assimilate to Dafa, and repay the Teacher's great compassion and salvation through bitter sufferings."

[Zibo City, Shandong Province] Qiugu Labor Camp Mistreats Dafa Practitioners

The Qiugu Labor Camp of Zibo, Shandong Province illegally detained over 130 Falun Dafa practitioners. Of those, 25 practitioners suddenly woke up after reading Teacher's article "Suggestion." They made a collective statement at the end of May that the "guarantee letters" that they had written under pressure and after being tortured were invalid. They would continue to cultivate Dafa steadfastly. From June 1 to the present, the unlawful officials in the labor camp locked these 25 practitioners up separately in small cells. On hot days, when the temperature was as high as 35^oC (95^oF), the practitioners were not allowed to drink water or eat food, nor were their family members allowed to visit them. Even more contemptible, the officials, in an attempt to cover up their brutality toward Dafa practitioners, claimed that "Falun Gong practitioners held a hunger strike."

[Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Police Arrest Dafa Practitioners Illegally

On May 30, 2001 police in Hebei Province arrested over 20 Dafa practitioners for no reason. They were either tricked into reporting to their work units to be detained, or forcibly taken away from home. These practitioners have been cut off from contact with the outside world completely. Please pay attention to this issue.

[Jining City, Shandong Province] Dafa Practitioners Are Arrested Illegally

Wang Guiming, 72 years old, lives in Jining city. She was taken away from her work unit (Jining Mine Mechanic Factory) on May 25 and her whereabouts are still unknown. Since she started practicing Falun Dafa, her white hair turned black. The old age spots on her face disappeared. The people around her saw the magical effects of Falun Dafa on her. She is well recognized in her area. This elderly lady, who should be enjoying her retirement, is suffering from the persecution of Jiang Zemin's criminal clique.

Another Jining practitioner, Xu Ruiling, is 36 years old. She was taken away on May 30 for no reason. Her whereabouts are unknown. Her arrest has left a 6-year-old boy at home. His young heart aches for his lost mother. .

[North China Oil Field] Police Arrest Dafa Practitioners Illegally

Before Labor Day, the Police Station at North China Oil Field (NCOF) detained several elderly Dafa practitioners illegally.

At eight o'clock on April 28, police in NCOF tricked Zhai Shufeng into going to the police station. She is 60 years old. They used the excuse that they wanted to discuss something with her, and then detained her forcibly. On the evening of April 29^th, police broke into another residence and took away a couple. Liao Yongheng is 67 years old. Fang Zhuying is 64 years old. Zhou Shuansuo (70 ) and his wife Li Ronghua were taken from the traffic police section.

On April 27 at 10 p.m. Police arrested Wang Shuzhen. He is 57 years old. Previously, she had been released from Kaiping Labor Camp because of being on a hunger strike. They detained her in the Kaiping Labor Camp again. The evil thugs did not even let off an aged woman. Benevolence and viciousness will be rewarded in the end. Those evil thugs will definitely face retribution in the future. This retribution will come from above.

[Wuhan City, Hebei Province] Practitioner Peng Qingqing Disappears After Arrest

Dafa practitioner Peng Qingqing used to be a nurse . Because she insisted on practicing Dafa, she was sent to the mental hospital at her own work unit and tortured cruelly. Later she was dismissed because she refused to be reformed. In order to promote Dafa and support her family at the same time, she set up a stall on the street, polishing shoes. While polishing shoes, she promoted Dafa to people. Although it is a tiresome and dirty job, she only collected 50 cents for polishing a pair of shoes. She always took bitterness as happiness and never had any complaints.

Recently, Peng Qingqing went to Qingling detention center of Wuchang City. She intended to deliver Teacher's new articles to the practitioners detained there, but the police found out and arrested her at once. They sent her to the Female Labor Camp. After the detention term of 15 days, her mother wanted to bring her home. The mother was told that her daughter had been sent to Ezhou city. That turned out to be a lie. Now Peng has disappeared and we do not have any news of her. (Over 200 practitioners have been killed in police custody since July 1999.)

[Qinghuangdao City, Shandong Province] A Practitioner Is Missing

Zhu Weihua is a teacher from Yanshan University in Qinghuangdao city. She was arrested in April for insisting on practicing Dafa. Her whereabouts remain unknown .

[Lanzhou City, Gansu Province] News from Lanzhou

The Qilihe Hanjiahe "transformation class" in Lanzhou city detains 31 Dafa practitioners. With four months of forced transformation and brain washing, all practitioners but two have solidified their resolution of cultivation in Dafa. Recently, practitioners realized that they should not cooperate with evil any more, therefore they began a collective hunger strike. Four days later, the class started to release the practitioners in succession. However, several practitioners are still in detention. It is said that they will be sent to a labor camp.

Dafa Practitioner Zhen X was arrested for sending Teacher's new article, "Suggestion," to practitioners detained in a "transformation class." He was sent to Xiguoyuan Detention Center illegally.

Wang Yun, a student from the Economics Management College of Lanzhou University, was arrested for clarifying the truth to people and distributing materials. Now he is detained in the Xiguoyuan Detention Center.

Wang Mei, who worked as a doctor in Northwestern Normal University, was sent to a labor camp because she refused to write a statement of guarantee (the statement is to guarantee that one won't practice Falun Dafa anymore).

Vicious policeman Wang Junnan in the Dalian Detention Center, forced practitioners to stick their buttocks in the air, with their heads downward, and both legs straight with two hands holding a basin of water. If any water splashed out, or the posture was not in accordance with his requirements, he would kick and beat practitioners violently. Practitioners were beaten and had bruises all over their bodies. .
