On February 10th, at midnight, my parents called me from China asking me to look after my daughter Bella with special care. They didn't say any more after speaking those words. I felt very strange and thought, "Why did they suddenly call me like that? During the Chinese New Year holiday, I called them, but they were not home, and no one would tell me where they were.

After calling around and asking questions, I discovered that my parents and brother were all being targeted for persecution from the local authorities, following Jiang Zemin's orders. My brother is not a Falun Dafa practitioner, yet his house was searched several times and some of his property was confiscated. Furthermore, the authorities broke down the door to search the house when no one was at home. My father is now 72 years old and my mother is 65 years old. Recently, they have been put into the detention center several times. When they are at home, they are forced to report for duty at the police station every day. They are followed as they go about their daily routines and their telephone calls are electronically monitored all the time. The personal letters, I had written to my parents, were confiscated and read by the police. My parents have been deprived of their basic human rights.

I was shocked. I could not understand why the authorities under direction from Jiang Zemin cannot let elderly people, such as my parents; have peace in their later years. Why are they afraid of Falun Dafa practitioners who follow "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance" and always try to act as better people? What do they actually want to do?

I sincerely hope that all Falun Dafa practitioners and their relatives who are being persecuted by the terrible policies of Jiang Zemin and his followers: do not be afraid of their savage and evil actions, stand up bravely, expose their crimes and stop it.

I also call for all righteous governments, international organizations, media, and people of goodwill worldwide to extend your support and assist us in order to stop the crimes against innocent people from spreading.
