(Clearwisdom.net) One day, a practitioner who often shares experiences with me said, "I'm very busy, so I didn't have time to look at the articles you printed for me from Dafa web sites. I could only look at the titles at most." Hearing this, I felt a bit at a loss. I knew I should search inside, and so I ignored his willingness to accept "being busy" as an excuse for not doing something. I didn't communicate with him in time and let him know the importance of Dafa articles.
In "Master Li Hongzhi's Lecture at the Great Lakes Conference in North America," Master said:
"All beings in the cosmos have deviated from this Fa. In other words, their realms and purity, when measured with the standard of the original Dafa of the cosmos, are no longer adequate. So all of their arrangements and assistance has become the biggest obstacle to my carrying out this undertaking. This is because no matter how well they do, it won't surpass their realms. If things were done according to everything they arranged, think about it: Wouldn't it be the same as nothing having been done, even after this was completed? How could it be acceptable if the same realm and standards were to remain after this is completed? That's why all these things that they've arranged and done cannot be accepted or considered valid."
I realized that if we spend a lot of time doing Dafa work without paying enough attention to studying the Fa, we could easily fall into the arrangements of the old forces, and end up as though "the same realm and standards were to remain after this is completed." Only when we make the best use of time to study the Fa can we rid ourselves of the control of the old forces and completely deny their arrangements.
Currently, "busy" is a common test for many Dafa practitioners, because practitioners must complete a lot of work within a limited time frame. Therefore, how they utilize the time available is an indication of Dafa practitioners' wisdom and endurance.
"Matter and mind are one thing... An everyday person cannot detect the existence of this characteristic, Zhen-Shan-Ren, in the universe, because everyday people are all on the same level. When you rise above the level of everyday people, you will be able to detect it. How do you detect it? All matter in the universe, including all substances that permeate the universe, are living beings with thinking minds, and all of them are forms of existence of the universe's Fa at different levels. They do not let you ascend. Though you want to ascend, you cannot. They just do not let you move up. Why don't they let you move up? It is because your xinxing has not improved. There are different criteria for every level. If you want to reach a higher level, you must abandon your ill thoughts and clean yourself of filth in order to assimilate to the requirements of the standard at that level. Only by doing so can you ascend" (Zhuan Falun).
Therefore, I realized that as Dafa practitioners, as long as our xinxing rises above the human level, we can overcome the control of time; as a result, being "busy" should not be a barrier for us.
The articles on Dafa web sites should not be studied as the Fa. However, they do provide an environment for Dafa practitioners worldwide to exchange experiences, which is extremely precious--especially since many articles are the testimonies of fellow practitioners who have risked their lives to validate Dafa. They have exhibited tremendous courage and faith. These articles can help us to move forward more steadily. As one practitioner said, "The enlightenment of every Dafa particle is the treasure of the entire body of Dafa particles."
I hope practitioners can truly come to realize this and pay close attention to these articles. I truly feel that reading or writing Dafa articles is a way of eliminating "the bad thoughts in my mind, karma, and bad notions or external interference" at the level where I am, and that I greatly benefit from it. I am also going to try harder to factually record my experiences in clear words and publish them in order to share them with Dafa practitioners worldwide. Let's improve ourselves and advance together.
