Compassion and togetherness were on the minds of hundreds who gathered at Nathan Phillips Square on Saturday to promote peace and understanding.

Attendees were obviously in the mood for harmony. "I think the world need peace and we are Falun Gong practitioners, and we think compassion is the characteristic of the universe," said Grace Wei.
