[Clearwisdom.net] On December 29, 2000, Jiang Zemin and his evil forces, through a Xinhua reporter, once again spread slanderous fabrications to the world. They claimed that Falun Gong practitioners would commit a "group suicide" on command.
Such language is not new. Even before the nation-wide crackdown on Falun Gong in China on July 20, 1999, Jiang Zemin and his underlings had already spread similar rumors, such as "Falun Gong practitioners will commit a group suicide in the Fragrance Mountain, Beijing on such and such date, etc." They even pretended to dispatch policemen to prevent it from happening. At that time, a lot of kind-hearted people were confused because of their unfamiliarity with Falun Gong. Jiang Zemin hid the truth from the masses and then went on to coerce other leaders of the Chinese government and the People's Congress to label Falun Gong a [slanderous phrase] under his despotic power. It was not until later that people came to understand how Jiang and his accomplices deliberately conspired to suppress Falun Gong. They took advantage of people's bitter memories of past group suicides by certain cults in order to frame, misrepresent, and slander Falun Gong. By demonizing practitioners in the minds of the public, they laid the foundation for Falun Gong's subsequent persecution.
Now, one and a half years later, certain leaders have repeated their performance, once again trying to deceive the world by clamoring about a so-called "group suicide." What on earth do they hope to achieve? Let's take a look at their intentions and completely expose their motives. Their actions reveal that they are at their wits' end. This is just another performance -- one of shifting the blame from where it belongs onto innocent people. It is a mean and shameless act of evil beings. It is also a disgrace to the Chinese nation, because so far there are still quite a number of people who have been deceived by such lies.
It is not difficult to expose these kinds of lies. The article by the Xinhua reporter said, "In recent days, the overseas 'Falun Gong organization' reported that 'Falun Gong' practitioner Zhao Jing had been persecuted to death. However, according to the confession of the organizer who led people -- including Zhao Jing -- to go to Beijing to create trouble, Zhao Jing died from jumping out of the second level window of a two-story coach on the way from Changchun to Beijing. She believed that it was time for her to reach 'ultimate consummation'. This is the truth of the incident."
Now, let's take a look at this reporter's "truth." First of all, the words, "according to the confession of the organizer" reveal that the reporter was not on the scene when the incident took place. Secondly, it is well known that television and radio broadcasts in mainland China have been telling bare-faced lies for several decades. The situation became even worse after the open crackdown on Falun Gong began in July of last year. Jiang Zemin and his cohorts made unbridled attacks on Falun Gong, thereby confusing right and wrong and calling a stag a horse (a Chinese expression for "deliberate misrepresentation" /translator). Also, on Tiananmen Square, even the elderly, pregnant women, and children are brutally and unrelentingly beaten by police in broad daylight, so it is not hard to imagine what violent means they resort to in prisons, where the spotlight of the public cannot reach, in order to force confessions to false charges under torture. As for the "facts" and the "truth," or the "truth about the Great Criticism" (in the Great Cultural Revolution and the time following it) how many have been fabricated by the Xinhua Agency over the past decades? The slanderous rumors the Xinhua Agency has invented to frame Falun Gong in the past year alone are sufficient to prove that it is merely a political partisan and a bully posing as a legitimate news agency. On all major issues, it has revealed its complete lack of journalistic ethics and principles. Among all the world's media, the Xinhua Agency is the most unqualified to mention the words "fact" and "truth."
Furthermore, if Zhao Jing committed suicide for the purpose of "consummation," then it stands to reason that Zhao Jing wanted, before she died, to go to Beijing to "cause trouble" for the purpose of "consummation." However, she did not set foot in Beijing and did not "cause trouble," so how could this have been the time or the way for her to reach "ultimate consummation"? Also, it is not easy for a person to jump out of a window from the upper level of a two-story coach. Please note that it was not a coach for her private use. Among all the passengers in the coach, are we to believe that no one was able to prevent her from jumping? If Zhao Jing truly "jumped" (or was pushed, or was thrown) out of the coach, she must have been brutally tortured by the police who stopped the coach, or perhaps her situation was even worse.
Throughout the past year, many secret government documents regarding the persecution of Falun Gong have gradually been leaked and become known to the public. These documents themselves have been strong evidence against Jiang Zemin and his followers for their brutality and their willful trampling of the laws and regulations of our country. If an open and fair investigation were allowed, there could only be one conclusion: that Zhao Jing died at the hands of people who were carrying out Jiang Zemin's policies of suppressing Falun Gong. This is the real truth of the incident. It is the only conclusion that is logical. Finally, the Xinhua reporter firmly established that there had in fact been a person called Zhao Jing who was alive and doing well, but who died on the way to Beijing while trying to appeal for justice against the illegal persecution of Falun Gong.
Jiang Zemin and his followers have desperately employed various cruel, contemptible, and shameless means to suppress Falun Gong. However, 17 months have passed, and Falun Gong has not been defeated. On the other hand, more and more crimes of Jiang Zemin and his supporters have been exposed to the light of day. Many governments and news media have condemned the Chinese government, while Falun Dafa has continued to spread throughout the entire world. At this critical time, when Jiang and his followers such as Luo Gan clamor about "group suicide," they are just making noise. It confirms that they are at their wit's end. First they commit murder, then they charge their victims with suicide. Does this not reveal their vicious and cruel natures? Is there more venomous slander anywhere? Furthermore, those people that assisted Jiang Zemin in killing innocent people are pathetic and reprehensible!
They are so bad. In order to deprive people of their right to practice their spiritual beliefs, they have resorted to all sorts of measures, including using mind-control, hiding information, threatening people economically, torturing people physically, and destroying numerous families. Even they themselves, though extremely frenzied, cannot help but be scared late at night facing these sinful debts. Who can claim that "Evil will not be rewarded with evil?" Those ghosts, who died of being burnt, hanged, or from some other extreme penalty, appeared from time to time before dictators like Hitler, Mussolini, and Ceausescu, tyrants who were celebrated for a while but disappeared from the stage of history in a flash.
Having once again spread the rumor of "group suicide," they have exposed their own inner fears. Who can pay the debt for so many lives? Cases involving human lives are shaking the heavens! In an attempt to shirk their own responsibility, they try to shift the blame onto others, like people who plug their ears while stealing bells. However, evil forces exist not only in name, but in reality as well. Clinging obstinately to their course of action, they would rather choose self-destruction than follow good advice. Of course, if the evil forces put up a last-ditch struggle, and dare to recklessly kill more innocent people in the name of "group suicide," they will only succeed in kicking over the stepping-board on the gallows they have set up for themselves.
We Falun Dafa practitioners have been conducting oursleves in an upright and dignified manner. What we cultivate is Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, and what we pursue is an incomparably pure realm. How can they still be called human beings when they brutally persecute good people? Numerous Falun Gong practitioners have been arrested, detained and tortured. At this very moment, they are still suffering painful torture in detention centers, police stations, public security bureaus, labor education camps, jails, and mental hospitals. After being hounded and beaten to death, these innocent people are then charged with "suicide." Now, while they are still alive, we are charged with "intending to commit suicide." We can hardly find words strong enough to describe Jiang Zemin's viciousness .
And to you so called "Xinhua Agency reporters," who act like shameless wretches: that's enough! Jiang Zemin has committed terrible crimes endlessly. Someday soon he will receive his punishment from the cosmic law. Do you really want to be buried with such a vile person? We are shedding tears for you because we see you stepping into a bottomless dark abyss, and for what? Only a tiny profit.
