[Clearwisdom.net] After the Chinese government released Professor Zhang Kunlun yesterday, 50 plus practitioners from Montreal and Ottawa came for a second time to the Chinese Embassy in Ottawa. They appealed to the Chinese government to immediately and unconditionally release all innocent detained Falun Gong practitioners.
The world of ice and snow and the cold weather of 20 degrees below zero (Celsius) could not deter the practitioners' firm faith in Falun Dafa.
Ottawa practitioners and 20 or more practitioners from Montreal within 4 hours' driving distance were practicing outside all the time. They also held a candlelight vigil to mourn the more than 100 practitioners who were persecuted to death. The whole scene was solemn and touching.
Several major news agencies came to interview. One press photographer stood for 2 hours until the activities ended. Because of the cold weather, two radio reporters had to interrupt the interview in order to warm up before they continued.
It happened today that there were some activities in the embassy. Almost all guests saw the peaceful and solemn scene of the practitioners' appealing. Moreover, several Canadian guests had been standing in front of the Chinese Embassy for quite a long time watching the practitioners before entering the embassy.
After the memorial service, practitioners shared their experiences and said that their fingers were numb with cold. However, they felt very comfortable upon doing the third exercise. This had never occurred before. Also, in spite of the cold weather, there were more practitioners instead of fewer. Increasingly more practitioners realize that we should keep up with the pace of Fa-rectificatoin.
