On the early morning of September 21st, Dafa posters declaring "Jiang Zemin Can't Shirk the Historical Responsibility for the Persecution of Falun Gong" were seen posted in almost all counties in Beijing. These posters were posted everywhere including the advertisement boards on the buses, utility pillars, bridges, residential areas, ancient temples, and the walls in the alleys. A lot of people stood, watched and read these posters. Following 14 months of the Chinese governments suppression of Falun Gong, this event occurred in the heart of China -- Beijing -- despite very tight security set up for the upcoming "National Day." For those politicians who want to annihilate Falun Gong before "10.1", this should teach them a lesson. This convincingly indicates the mighty power of Dafa that brings everyone together, and Dafa dizis (disciple) fearlessness of the authority and determination to continue their cultivation.
Most citizens in Beijing are righteous. During the past century, whenever the nation encountered a critical life or death moment, the citizens of Beijing were always willing to voluntarily step forward to protect the national interests. They also had to endure suppression repeatedly, thus they are capable of recognizing the vicious intentions of a few individuals in the central government. Moreover, many of Jiang's ignoble manners (people describe them as "craving for greatness and success") have been the source of both laughter and criticism for the citizens of Beijing. Therefore, this act of promoting Dafa has hit the mark at the right time and is helping the citizens of Beijing to see through Jiangs evil intention of suppressing Falun Gong. The general public has welcomed this act.
Later on, the government mobilized a lot of people to take down these posters. However, the posters were posted over quite a large area, and even until 10AM on some business streets, some posters were still in good condition and attracting peoples attention. Some citizens were also so bold that they pieced the torn pieces together to read as if there was no one around even while the government officers were tearing the posters apart. Some citizens tried very hard to read the vague print of the words on the Dafa posters. Some citizens said: "Falun Gong is so brave! They should have done this earlier to Jiang Zemin." All these indicate to us that citizens are eager to understand Dafa and the necessity of Dafa Dizi telling the truth to the general public.
During the promotion of Dafa, we also found that some aspects of our xinxing still needed to be upgraded in our cultivation. Now, we would like to share with Falun Gong practitioners around the world the viewpoints of some Beijing dizi participating in Dafa promotion:
1. This act accorded with the cosmic climate.
On the night of the 19th, Beijing had a heavy thunderstorm with some hail. On the evening of the 20th, it rained a little bit. The raining, accompanied with thunder, became even heavier at midnight. Some practitioners originally planning to do the posting thought this might be a sign to not go out and do the posting. So we all went back home to sleep. Yet, when we woke up, we all regretted having lost another good chance to protect Dafa. We should hold on to the righteous thought and believe that if we are doing the most righteous and best task, we would have the weathers help. Recalling the day of 4.25, the weather broadcast also reported that the rain would be light to moderate, yet the sky was clear and it only rained after all dizi left Zhongnanhai. Actually, every time when we were having the activities to protect Dafa, Teacher was also doing the cleaning-up in another dimension. Teacher did the cleanup one time on the 19th and did it again on the 20th. It also rained earlier than the forecasted time so that dizi had time to take action later that night. As it should be, the heavy rain stopped shortly before the scheduled 1 oclock time. Most of the security forces were going home because of the heavy rain. Dizi smoothly finished all the posting of Dafa posters and most went home safely.
2. The content [of the posters] was meant to expose the evil intention of Jiang Zemin; this goal is worthy of our actions regardless of the risk to our lives.
At the beginning, some dizi felt enthusiastic about the idea of collectively posting Dafa posters. Yet, they became reluctant when they found out the content was directed at Jiang Zemin. They thought this way did not accord with "Benevolence." In fact, every word in Zhuan Falun reveals the principles of Dafa, and it is up to you to become enlightened to them. In the new scripture "Rationality," Teacher said, "The actions they are now adopting in the persecution of Dafa and its practitioners are extremely wicked and shameful, and they fear these will be exposed. Their evilness must be made known to people around the worldthis is also offering people salvation. " Therefore, it is right to expose the police officers abuse of Dafa dizi; it is right to expose the government officers who gave orders to the police officers to commit the vicious abuses. It is also very right to expose the very source of evil and the person who is ordering the government officers to commit these vicious abuses.
The general public can have different ways of life at different levels, yet in the eyes of Buddha, the nature of human beings should be treated equally. Buddha will never act like everyday people and treat leaders or the authorities differently from the general public. A leader of a country should have even greater virtues and capacity to accommodate diversities, but Jiang Zemin persecuted Dafa. He acted in a crude and unreasonable manner in the world, and deprived the general public of basic human rights. Dafa dizi are cultivating "Benevolence", yet what we are cultivating is Great Benevolence. Teacher said: "[one] cannot treat anyone like an enemy." Teacher also said: "Whoever directly attacks Dafa is a demon." Right now, the demons in other dimensions have been cleaned out. Being the guardian gods in the human world, we should expose and dig out the root of evil in the human world. The Fa is in perfect harmony. Teacher said: "a cultivation practitioner should never kill life." Teacher also told us the story of "cleaning the bath tub". Werent people like Jiang Zemin viewed like the worms in the bathtub, since they obstructed the Fa-Rectification? Letting them do whatever they want will not be benevolent to the hundreds of millions, the general public.
3. Do not rigidly adhere to any formality, your entire mind is for Dafa
Some practitioners cannot fully understand why we posted Dafa posters. There is no formality in the cultivation of Dafa, and only your mind and heart will be recognized. Teacher further broke our everyday people concepts in the scripture "Using At Will". Teacher also said in "Digging Out The Roots" that "Under such very special circumstances, Dafa practitioners in Beijing adopted a special approach to ask those people to stop undermining Dafathis actually was not wrong." The circumstance we have right now is a very special one. The way of posting Dafa posters is very direct and effective in catching the attention of the general public. Each of these posters exposes Jiang Zemins crimes, promotes the truth, and awakens the general public. These posters are just like lamps that bring light to Beijing in the dark night.
4. Stepping forward to validate Dafa is the responsibility of every dizi.
It has been two months since this act of telling the truth to the general public on a large scale and in a wide area was undertaken. However, some dizi are still in a state of individual cultivation, are afraid of being defined as an "organization," and do not fully understand the implication of "wuwei" (non-action or without intention). Teacher clearly explained in the New Zealand lecture: "We are practicing our cultivation in Dafa, and the implication of "youwei" (action or with intention) and "wuwei" (non-action) is different from the cultivation in the past. Being a practitioner in Dafa, do not say things that you should not say and do not do things that you should not do, then it is considered as "wuwei". In fact, Shifu also similarly lectured on this in the section of "Xiu Kou" (cultivation of speech) in Zhuan Falun. Therefore, what we should as practitioners is to protect Dafa, and this is not considered "youwei". The enlightened beings are already in the state of "wuwei", yet they also need to do their duty at their level and state.
Cultivation depends on ones own efforts, while the transformation of gong is done by ones master. Passive waiting cannot bring about the Fa-Rectification in the human world. Only when we do well enough, can Teacher remove this tribulation. Our cultivation in Dafa has recorded our foot prints one after another, and it requires our effort and determination to overcome difficulties and tribulations. Teacher has already endured so much for us, therefore, we should advance ourselves even further, treasure this predestined relationship with Dafa, establish the mighty virtue of Dafa, and attain our own great position of Consummation at the same time.
