Not long ago, I saw many actions and situations that did not conform to the Fa. I felt anxious and helpless. Upon reading Master Lis new article "Rationality", and Minhui Nets new editorial "The Purpose of Stepping Forward is to Validate Dafa", I suddenly saw the light. Following are some of my understandings:
- The entire cosmic climate has already undergone a change. This cosmic change is not proclaimed by someone, seen by someone with his or her Tianmu (the third eye). Even less is it passed through from hints from some fake Law Bodies and other similar messy messages. This is a real, true cosmic change that is understood from taking the Fa as the Master, and from using Masters June 16 article "Towards Consummation" as a standard.
- In the past, when we considered an issue, we only considered it from one single aspect. In other words, we considered an issue on the basis of our own individual cultivation. We considered how, in the test of rectifying the Fa, we could make our thoughts and actions conform to the Fa without affecting the Fa in a negative way when we step forward. At the same time, we hoped that the government agencies "looking after" us could realize the truth about the Fa through our rational thoughts and actions. All of this was, without a doubt, correct. Under the present cosmic climate of rectifying the Fa, we need to clarify the truth with rationality, wisdom and compassion. Dafa practitioners should certainly conform to this change.
- Because, in the past, we considered issues on the basis of our own individual cultivation, required ourselves to maintain our Xinxing and did not affect the Fa in a negative way, we did not agree with all kinds of chaotic thoughts and actions that did not conform to the Fa. This was also correct. However, Master Li has said, "Concern ourselves with facts not with individuals." We have seen wrong thoughts and wrong actions, but that does not mean we can prejudice people against their doing those wrong things. We should treat all sentient beings with compassion and kindness, which of course include our true fellow practitioners. (This doesnt include those who specifically come to destroy the Fa and persecute practitioners, such as people who disguise themselves as practitioners and do outrageous and extreme things, or spies who agitate practitioners to do irrational things.)
- At present, we need to change the way we think. That is to say, in the new historical time period following this cosmic change, we should be able to consider issues from the big picture of Dafa saving humanity, instead of limiting ourselves to the basis of our own cultivation. We should not just consider stepping forward to verify the Fa and our individual path towards Consummation from a narrow perspective. We should not just maintain our Xinxing from the perspective of individual cultivation.
- Perhaps, we were surrounded and troubled by thoughts and actions that did not conform to the Fa because, in the past, we considered issues based on one aspect. If we change the basis of how we consider things to that based on the broad perspective of Dafa instead, every specific issue that perplexed us will become extremely minor and insignificant. In ordinary peoples words, we should now focus on major conflicts, instead of limiting ourselves to isolated, minor conflicts. Dafa judges whether every individual cultivator's thoughts and actions conform to the Fa. In the end, we must be responsible for our own thoughts and actions.
- From a grand perspective, the unique historic period that began last July differs from our normal cultivation (cultivation in the peaceful period) in that now our individual cultivation is closely tied to the rectification the Fa. Safeguarding and spreading the Fa is the current form of our cultivation.
- Under the current cosmic change, from the broad aspect of Dafa, and based on this greatest need to rectify the Fa, letting people know the truth is presently the most urgent task and responsibility for every true practitioner both inside and outside of China. Because Dafa has already reached the stage of rectifying the human world, it is no longer confined to aspects of cultivators attaining Fa or improving their cultivation levels. In this unique period, we should give every individual a chance to place his or her future position.
I think that most Chinese people have only heard the Chinese governments side of the story. They have been completely surrounded by those evil lies, and do not understand the truth at all. If they determine the position of their life based on this, they will call it unfair. They will say, "No one told us the true situation, so of course we couldnt correctly place our positions." This is my own understanding. Therefore, we should let them understand the truth, and let them decide based on the information from both sides. We will see whether they believe in truth or lies, and whether they still have the most basic human kindness and conscience. Therefore, letting everyone know the truth about Falun Dafa is currently the most important task of "assisting the Teacher in the human world."
- What is included in the truth? Previously, when we talked about the truth of Falun Dafa, we would talk about our own understandings toward Dafa, and would unknowingly say too many high-level things. Ordinary people would either not understand it, or not want to hear it (especially those who did not believe in gods). Now I feel that in this present special time period, since we are dealing with ordinary people, we should awaken kindness and conscience at the level of ordinary people. We should focus on the Chinese governments deceptive propaganda, and item by item, clarify the facts. We should especially tell the truth about the Chinese governments persecution, suppression, and tortures [of Dafa practitioners]. The purpose of this is to prompt people's consciences, and to let them position their hearts (the emphasis is not on making them agree with Dafa or cultivate Dafa). If they can begin to cultivate, thats even better. If they can't, they can set up a predestined relationship for future cultivation, which is a form of being saved.
- Regarding what methods to use when letting people know the truth, we practitioners in mainland China once had this worry: When Master Li was teaching the Fa, or when practitioners were spreading the Fa, they used word of mouth. They did not use any commercial methods, such as newspapers, radio, television, fliers, etc., because no purposeful formality is qualified to be used in spreading Dafa. We also considered that if we used fliers and secretly put materials in mailboxes or on people's cars, it would not be upright and open, nor would we be able to talk with people and move them from the heart. We were afraid it might cause some negative results, cause people to misunderstand Dafa, or keep predestined people from attaining the Fa.
Right now, I understand that during this unique historical period, we are letting people know about the truth at this level of human beings. We are doing something at the level of ordinary people, letting people know that Dafa has been misportrayed, and that practitioners have been tortured. We are dealing with ordinary people, and getting results at the level of ordinary people. So, we can use all methods that belong to this level, including putting fliers that tell the truth about Dafa and the persecution of practitioners in peoples mailboxes, on their cars, or posting them in parks, stores, or other similar methods. It doesnt matter what methods we use, as long as we can let people know the truth about Falun Gong. We are giving them a chance to choose their future positions. This is also helping Master save humankind.
- I heard that it was difficult for overseas practitioners when telling people the true situation in the beginning of this year. People oftentimes dont care, and many overseas Chinese believed the Chinese government's lies. Since this May or June, because of the change in the cosmic climate and the wiping out of the old evil forces in other dimensions, efforts to let people know the truth have flourished. People are now willing to understand the truth and read the fliers. This is the change in this human dimension that was brought about by the change in the cosmic climate.
Therefore, I think that those practitioners who had similar worries can step forward again. Under this new historical period, use rationality, compassion, and wise methods, as well as a variety of flexible methods, to let all the people in the world know the truth of Dafa. The time to eliminate all evil will then come even more quickly. At the same time, practitioners' rationality and wise mainstream actions can correct or eliminate the irrational actions we are afraid of. In other words, we not only need to be "righteous", we must "act", step forward, and fulfill our responsibility to "assist the Teacher in the human world".
