On April 22, for the third time I was on the way to Beijing to petition. They had somebody intercept me in Jinan city. I was taken back along the highway by our work-unit's car. The policemen were waiting for us when we got off the highway. I was taken to Qicheng Hotel and locked up. On the next evening, four policemen came to interrogate me about the details of signature collection for the International Human Rights Conference and an experience-sharing conference organized by me. At the beginning, I did not tell them anything. They slapped me on my face, pulled my hair, twisted my handcuffed hands, burned my hip with the tip of a cigarette, and kicked my head. I regret to the fellow practitioners that I told the police what they wanted because I could not take it anymore.

On April 25, my family told me that I would be sentenced to at least one-year labor because I went to Beijing to petition three times and organized an experience-sharing conference, and (they) had no means (to save me) but to send me to the mental hospital. My work-unit and my husband sent me to the third section of the Third People's Hospital of Weifang City. On the third day after I came here, another Falun Gong practitioner was also sent in because of going to Beijing to petition. Her family sent her here just three days after she was released from a detention center. Her name is Ma Yanxin, 52, living in Jinjia Village, Anqiu County, Weifang City, Shangdong province. This old lady thought that the hospital would not accept her if she was examined normal. However, the hospital kept her to make money. She and I protested with a hunger strike. As a result, the old lady and I were tied on a bed and force-fed by inserting a tube through the nose to the stomach. She was force-fed four times and I received force-feedings three times. When the first force-feeding was over, they still kept me tied. I wanted to go to the bathroom, but the nurses refused to release me. I begged them that they could re-tie me again after I used the bathroom, and they said "no." They asked another patient to help me urinate with a spittoon, but because my arms and feet were tied to the bed, the urine went all over the bed. The nurses still did not release me, so I had to lie on the bed.

Ma Yanxin didn't take any medicine after she practiced Falun Gong. But she had to take at least twenty pills a day during her 18-day hospitalization. Because of the hunger strike as a protest, her life was at risk from the beginning until after they injected twenty bottles of medicine. As a result of taking drugs, the old lady could not coordinate her arms and feet, she had a dry and hard tongue, it was hard for her to open her eyes, and she could not remember things. The same thing happened to me. My hands and feet were shaking, my heart was beating fast, my tongue was dry and hard and my arms and feet could not coordinate. I felt dizzy and could not remember things. I had stayed in the (mental) hospital for thirty-six days.

Falun Gong practitioners are good people. The hospital is a place for healing and saving. Why do they make normal people be disabled? Where is the heavenly justice?

Because of the drug effect on my body, it was hard for me to sit or stand. I was awakened many times at night, had a severe headache and could not sleep. I had to bump my head against the wall in order to reduce the pain. When I told the doctor about these, they just gave me an antidote.
