[ClearWisdom Los Angeles News] Falun Gong practitioners from Los Angeles have been peacefully appealing in front of Chinese Embassy for two weeks. Today, when practitioners arrived at the Embassy, we found something different. There were 3 or 4 folding tables placed in the center of the lawn where we usually practice. Different types of Chinese and English materials on Falun Gong; such as flyer, booklets, videotapes, all slandering and attacking Falun Gong, were placed on the tables. Obviously, officials from China Embassy have prepared for us. This time they wanted to take the lead.
Falun Gong Association is legally registered in the United States. The Chinese Embassy was openly distributing fabricated and libelous materials. We are consulting with City attorneys and related departments on this case.
After practitioners cleaned up the area, they put up four big posters on racks where pedestrians could easily see the posters. In order not to inconvenience passersby, practitioners moved the racks off of the sidewalk. Immediately, the Chinese Embassy officials rushed over and moved their tables in front of our posters. They took the space that practitioners had just cleared for foot traffic. Practitioners did not fight with them. We moved the posters to the lawn next to the sidewalk and practiced the exercises peacefully. Luckily, when the Chinese Embassy officials moved their tables to the sidewalk, they left an empty space where practitioners could practice the exercises.

We put up large banners saying "China, Stop Persecuting Falun Gong"; "Jiang Zemin, Stop Persecuting Falun Gong" and "Please Support Falun Gong's Human Rights". About 20 practitioners practiced the exercises. A few practitioners distributed Dafa materials containing the true facts about the persecution to pedestrians. This gave people a chance to understand Falun Gong and give their moral support to practitioners in China.
The officials from the Chinese Embassy should know clearly that Jiang Zemin's group's deeds are against nature and the truth. Because of their so-called future, they work very hard for these criminals who will definitely be condemned by history. They should ask themselves if they are being responsible to their collective conscience!
