Zhao Xin's Righteous Thought is Awakening Fellow Practitioners' Misunderstanding

[Clearwisdom.Net] Zhao Xin has passed away. In assisting the Master to rectify the Fa, another enlightened being, who consumed everything she had, fulfilled her pledge.

"Even you beat me to death, I would not cooperate with the evil." The righteous thought and the price paid by Zhao Xin, and her suffocating the evil with her life shed light on the mistakes we made in our cultivation. It is clearly a wake up call for us.

1. Yue Fei's "Rather Stand Up Than Kneel Down" Should Not Be Confused With Han Xin's Humiliation of Crawling Between Someone's Legs

In the past Yue Fei [a national hero and a great general in the Song Dynasty] would rather stand up than kneel down when facing the persecution of the evil. We feel this does not contradict with the humiliation of Han Xin's crawling between someone's legs [Han Xin was a leading general in the Han Dynasty]. We should be rational and not mix up the two. The forbearance of the Han Xin's humiliation was simply the repayment of his personal debt and nothing else. It was not a surrender to the evil. However, when the evil was trying to persecute the justice, Yue Fei's righteous manner and his righteous action were enough for the later people to see the evil's pettiness and low level.

In today's tribulations of the Fa, should we be "a god uninfluenced by the evil" or "a person conquered by the evil?" In : "anything looks worse when it gets to the surface, however it becomes weaker on the surface. If you want to restrain it, then you can do so since it has lost its root." The rectification of the Fa has reached the surface; the evil has lost its ground. Cannot we restrain them in our righteous thoughts? For those practitioners who forced their ways out of the demon's den, and those who broke through a series of evil persecutions, none of them were "led by the evil". They did not cooperate with the punishment. When they broke through the obstacles with righteous thoughts, Dafa unfolded its miracles on their bodies.

Were we afraid at that time? Probably. For a "Senior Arhat on the earth", if there is a tiny bit of fear, he would fall down. However, when you "take the step of breaking away from human being", if you overcome the fear, the demons will be afraid of you; this will be as: "both god and demon would be very afraid of you." When a standard is met, a barrier will disappear and some karma will also be eliminated. Our cultivation has sublimated over its boundary and we no longer merely suffer.

2. A Mistake: Some Practitioners "Cooperated with the Punishment"

Some practitioners were punished in a "jet style posture"; they were forced to kneel down and to do long runs while inflicted with other kinds of physical punishments (these are totally different from the torture). The evils even insulted female practitioners using the physical punishment. Why should we obey them and punish ourselves? Fearing a disease is to ask for a disease and the disease would be pressed into a body. The two seem to belong to the same principle. It is clearly stated in Dafa: "if you ask, nobody will interfere." How could Dafa unveil its power, when you have a human's mind? This was not to repay a personal debt, following Han Xin's "crawling between someone's legs". It was the "persecution of the Fa" and "test of the Fa" as the evils took the opportunity of persecuting the practitioners. However, the practitioners yielded --- letting the evils "easily reached their goal". To this point, the practitioners did not stand by the side of the Fa.

"Talking With the Time" told us, "to become a real god". Can a god be led by a demon? Yielding to the punishment is yielding to the demons. When the side of a god was restrained, how can he rectify the Fa?

Compared with the practitioners who forced themselves out of the barrier, the tribulations of those "cooperating with punishments" were not much different from the tribulations of the ordinary people, which would only end when the tribulations were worn out. The tribulation might be worse than it should be. "Taking the advantage of the weak and being afraid of the strong and being aggravated" were the attributions of the evil people. "Eliminate Your Last Attachment(s)" points out: "practitioners' own karma, inadequate understanding of the Fa, inability to deal with things using righteous thoughts amidst painful trials, and so on, are the main reasons behind evil's escalation of the persecution, and are the true fundamental excuses that the evil has used to attack the Fa. ... If you are not afraid, the factor that would make you afraid will become non-existent."

Lay down the thought of life and death, "the teacher is here, the Fa is here, what should we fear?" Do not be affected by the evil. If you can reach the realm of the "two feet stepping over thousands of demons", you will see how fast the Fa-rectification process is.

3. Suffocate the Evils and Become a Fa-Rectification God

Not to be led by the evil is the most basic thing. Any god who is in this Fa-rectification process should do the opposite -- suffocate the evil.

Some people worried: if we did not yield to the punishment, the tribulation might become greater. This is the thought of an ordinary person. Many fellow practitioners have realized: "bearing the hardship is not the purpose, improving ourselves and helping the Master to rectify the Fa are the most important." If you overcome the difficulty in understanding the Fa, your tribulation will in turn become lighter. Someone said, if we lay down the thought of life and death and repay a life with a karma-constructed body, how quick would this be to eliminate our karma? Only the righteous thought can unveil the power of Dafa.

To look from another angle, isn't it better if we can quickly remove our karma and pass through the tribulation? Talking about how great a tribulation is, we can take a look at Bai Yuzhi, the organizer of Jingjing assistant center of Shijiazhang [the capital of Hebei Province]. She was sentenced to three years in labor camp. She stayed in a labor camp well-known for its evilness, the Tangshan No. 1 Female Labor Camp in Hebei Province. She let go of her life many times. She came out in just one year. When has she ever been led by the evil?

Of course Zhao Xin's case was exceptional. An average person cannot bear such a great pressure, nor is there any same kind of arrangement. However, she not only paid her price for the Fa-rectification, but also paved the road for other practitioners. She refused to cooperate with the evil and was seriously injured by the persecution when she was protecting Dafa with her life. She reached her level and many demons were rectified. There was an immediate impact on the human world: several detention centers immediately released some practitioners; more practitioners were later released one after another. Especially, the Haidian detention center [Haidian is a district in Beijing where Zhao Xin was detained] relaxed its conditions a lot afterwards.

In "Falun Dafa lecture in Switzerland", Master said: "I can give up all I have to the utmost extent, thus I can untie all of this." Thousands of years have passed, this is the last step to go, what else cannot we give up? Is there anything left to be afraid? The great realm of selflessness cannot be reached by talking.
