[Minghui Net] My name is Zhong Yanzhen and I am 43 years old. My son, Wang Jingsong, 19 years old, is a student at Nanchang Institute of Aerospace Industry. My husband is a member of the Communist Party Committee of Shanggao Police Bureau. My son and I started practicing Falun Gong in 1997.
Since the government banned Falun Gong last year, my husband has started to disapprove of our practice. He forced me to leave home and threatened to divorce me. My son went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong this March and was detained in Jiefanglu detention center in Nanchang City for one month. Later, the school dismissed him.
This May, the police accused us of illegal association and took us to the detention center because some practitioners from Nanchang came to Shanggao to share their cultivation experience. My son was detained for over 60 days. Later, his grandpa bailed him out guaranteeing confinement and [forced] transformation at home. Under such circumstances with no personal freedom, my son ran away from home. When he learned that they had not released me, he called home and told his father: "If the police department does not release my mom, I will go to Beijing to appeal right away." Subsequently, the police department unwillingly released me. They detained me for a total of 3 months. At the beginning, they forced me to resign from the party. Then they claimed that I was not cooperating with them, to find and help arrest my son; so they did not allow me to go to work and put me in the detention center. I said the fault was with them, because they forced my son to leave home in the first place. Therefore, I would not cooperate with them. Upon hearing that, they said, "We will do it even if we are wrong." Then they detained me again without my son's knowledge. Since they locked me up , I went on a hunger strike to protest. On the fifth day of my hunger strike, the police asked the doctors to force-feed me with milk. They mixed drugs into the milk, which made me sick. On the sixth day, they did the same thing again. On the 7th day, I banged my head against the wall in protest. The police never asked if they did anything wrong. Instead, they locked me into the Yichun City's Yuanzhou Mental Hospital. In the hospital, they forced me to take drugs that were harmful to my nervous system. As a result, I became physically weak, shaking all over and mentally clouded. The people responsible for persecuting me include Niu Zhijian, the county head who is in charge of politics and law; Wu Minqing, deputy director of the police department; Chen Huirong, director of political security division; and Wang Changhong, my own husband.
During the National Day break, my son went to Beijing to validate Dafa on Tiananmen Square. The local police repatriated him from Beijing and detained him for 2 months. They also threatened to put him in a labor camp. In December, my husband pestered me and my son daily to break with Falun Gong. He threatened to send us to the labor camp if we failed to comply. We had no choice but to leave and became homeless.
I call upon the law-enforcement departments of Shanggao County not to believe the lies of Jiang Zemin, and to stop persecuting Falun Gong practitioners; because people will get what they deserve in the end. .
