[Minghui Net] Because I had mailed Dafa material to people in other cities and have given material to the Chief of the police station in person, I have been closely watched over by the police. On November 21st, 2000, my boss along with the police, tricked me into going to the police station with the excuse of having to question me, and forcibly detained me for labor re-education. Teacher said in "Expounding Law", " As a disciple, when encountering an ordeal, you will pass through it successfully as long as you remain calm and at ease or let go of your attachment to such a degree as required by different levels..." I realized that my path of cultivation has been arranged by Teacher. Going to a labor camp is because I need to cultivate and endure hardships in that environment and to eliminate my bad thoughts and attachments. Moreover, Teacher arranged the tests according to each individual practitioner's karma and enduring capability. Therefore, if it is my ordeal, I should be able to pass it as long as my mind is righteous. As soon as my righteous thoughts emerged, my mind became pure and clear.
I looked at my watch; it was after 12 o'clock. I immediately realized that what they were doing was evil. They dare not show it to people, and were afraid of being exposed. They purposely picked the time when people all left for lunch break so that they could secretly send me to a labor camp. As Teacher said in "Rationality", "The actions they are now adopting in the persecution of Dafa and its practitioners are extremely wicked and shameful, and they fear these will be exposed. Their evilness must be made known to people around the world--this is also offering people salvation. While the evil is being eliminated, you are consummating yourself in cultivation and strengthening the Fa's manifestation in the world..." Therefore, I pointed out their evil plan and tried to delay the time to wait for people to come back from their lunch break, and to let more people know their evil plan. This was suppressing the evil, waking up people's conscience, and offering salvation to people.
After a while, the police brought my husband, my son, and my daughter-in-law to say good-bye to me. The chief of the police department, identified himself as Li, showed me the "Written Judgment of City Government Labor Re-Education Committee" and asked my family and me to sign it. I immediately refused. I said I did not commit any crime and I would never agree to sign it. At the same time, my daughter-in-law also said, "We cannot sign the paper. We cannot allow the evil to take away my mom." She then tore the written judgment. They were enraged by this. More than ten policemen ganged up on us. The chief of the police department furiously shouted: "Whether you sign it or not, we will definitely send you there." I replied loudly, "What my Teacher says counts. What you are saying doesn't count." My husband also said loudly, "She just practices Falun Gong. Why send her to a labor camp? What's wrong with being a good person?" They pushed and dragged us outside and moved us toward the police car. At that time, it was office hours again and people had come back from lunch. We attracted a crowd of more than several hundred people. We struggled and stated our innocence to surrounding people while being taken away. However, there were too many policemen, so I was finally taken into the car and sent to Pingantai Labor Re-Education Camp.
At the labor camp, after going through procedures like physical examinations etc., the police went inside the labor camp and talked with people there for about 40 minutes. Later, he came out dejectedly and said to me, "Let's go. They don't accept you."
On my way home, I was in tears. On one hand, I tried to tell the police about the Great Law; on the other hand, my mind was full of thoughts. The greatest and most compassionate Teacher is watching over us all the time, making sure we move forward firmly on every step. Only if we have a pure heart, let go of our ego and keep the Great Law and Teacher in our hearts, will everything become supernormal.
My fellow practitioners, who still have not stepped forward to validate Dafa, our greatest and most compassionate Teacher is waiting for us. Evil has only its shell left. Don't be confused and frightened by its fake appearance. Be brave to step forward and join us in the great flow of Fa- rectification!
