Note: After a long tribulation and wait, enduring the sufferings is no longer the only way to return home.

Teacher says, "...as a practitioner, if you can assimilate to this characteristic, then you attain the Tao. It is such a simple principle." Now, as Dafa practitioners, it is time for us to ask ourselves whether we have assimilated to Dafa, and to the principles of Truthfulness, Benevolence, and Forbearance. If the answer is "no," it seems we ought to consider how to accomplish that. Although we have no attachments to Consummation, the goal of our cultivation is Consummation. On the other hand, we should let go of our last attachment to Consummation, because Teacher exhorts us to reach the realm of no omission, or the realm of harmonization. We ought to appreciate the Teacher's painstaking effort to let us understand this.

Have we ever thought of the following issue? Teacher once said, "A Buddha only needs to wave his hands to eliminate all the diseases of humankind. This is something that can definitely be done. Why don't those Buddhas do this?" In the same vein, why doesn't the Teacher wave his hands to dispel this nightmarish reign of terror? None of the genuine practitioners doubt the Teacher's capability. However, the Teacher's reaction does have multiple purposes: (i) it is to help us build the mighty virtue in the human world for ourselves; (ii) it is to give us the opportunity to assimilate to the Fa; (iii) it is to give us the opportunity to make progress; and (iv) in summary, it is to give us the opportunity to attain our Consummation. All that have happened are not incidental, but they are not something inevitable either. People like Jiang Zemin or Luo Gang are extremely vicious; what they have done is the manifestation of their evil essence. Teacher uses the arrangement of the lives of those most wicked beingswho are bound to be annihilated during the Fa-rectificationto test the xinxing levels of all sentient beings. Therefore, only our enthusiastic participation in the Fa-rectification can expedite our assimilation to the Fa. And when we assimilate to the Fa, aren't we beings who have truly attained the Tao? Taking it one step further, when we attained the Tao, isn't it certain that we will attain our Consummation later? This series of transformation, however, is all fulfilled naturally without our pursuing it.

Lacking wisdom and short on virtues, we are so fortunate to be able to take part in this Fa-rectification processthe first and the last of its kind in the entire history of the universe. Teacher says, "It is not your predestined relationship that enables you to encounter this Fa-rectification in your cultivation, nor is it just incidental. Whatever the reason, you can truly return to your true self now." Fellow practitioners, let's wholeheartedly treasure this opportunity. Let's awaken to our esteemed Teacher's boundless benevolence and compassion. Also, let's be happy for ourselves to be able to "attain the Fa first." Let's be proud for being able to follow the Teacher's instruction about cultivating the "righteous enlightenment of selflessness and altruism." Let's work harder to leave the Teacher less worried for us. Let's strive forward, so that we will not be embarrassed when we meet the Teacher next time, and so that we will assimilate to the principles of Truthfulness, Benevolence, and Forbearance in accordance with the cosmic changes.

We are innocent; we are benevolent; we are tenacious, but we are also sensible and mature. We have grown upto be "human beings" brought up within the Fa. We shall do better in the future. "Why doesn't the enlightened true self rectify the Fa?" We, as particles of Truthfulness, Benevolence, and Forbearance, are people who have attained the Tao or even higher universal principles. Aren't we people who have also attained the principles governing the ordinary human society? How can the ordinary people's laws that have long been skewed restrict us? On the contrary, we shall rectify, with all the righteous attributes we possess now, all that is not righteous in this human world. Hence, every act in subordination to wickedness, or in accommodation to viciousness, is actually encouragement to the evil, and drifting in the evil torrent.

Teacher speaks about "Walking Towards Consummation," which is very different from "waiting for Consummation." Fellow practitioners, let's step forward towards every corner of society, towards every village and urban alley, and towards the spotlighted Tiananmen Square. As citizens, we have the alternatives of going to the serene public parks, as well as to Tiananmen. Our freedomto clarify the truth and state the factsis our fundamental human right, as indisputable as axioms. We don't have the obligation to answer the inquiries of the police, because nobody gives them such a right to question us without authorization. Isn't it a mockery of today's China that a trip to Tiananmen will invite detention, beating, or forced labor? We shall work to teach the evil what is "the strength without anger." Let's awaken to one of the Teacher's remarks, "If every one of you can understand the Fa from the bottom of your heart, that will truly be the manifestation of the Fa whose power knows no boundarythe reappearance of the mighty Buddha Fa in the human world!" We shall really appreciate the efforts of the Teacher to help us enlighten to this. As a result, we shall validate the Fa while safeguarding the Fa, extend our benevolence to all the sentient beings during the validation process, and walk towards Consummation in the process of assimilating to the Fa.

"With the Teacher at the helm, the Fa saves all beings; One sail is hoisted, one hundred million sails follow." Fellow practitioners, let's hoist our sails against the morning breeze, and follow our great and benevolent Teacher to return to our ultimate home.
