During a Dafa promoting activity at the Garden Corner Park of Chinatown in San Francisco at the time of the Western U.S. Falun Dafa Conference, some Dafa practitioners encountered two middle-aged women claiming that they were from Liaoning province, China.

They posed as new practitioners of Falun Dafa and asked about the location of the group practice sites and practice schedule in the San Francisco area. They were also eager to get the yellow Falun Dafa T-shirts. These two women also attempted to collect practitioners' personal information such as addresses, names, and phone numbers. After further conversation with them, we found that they were not Dafa practitioners. Although they claimed they have read Zhuan Falun several times, they in fact did not know the contents discussed in Zhuan Falun, nor did they conduct themselves like practitioners. They also spread the propaganda of the Chinese Government while collecting information. It was not difficult to see that they were probably just some poorly educated people paid by the Chinese Government to blend in with the practitioners.

Recently, there have been several incidents in which the evil forces disturbed practitioners' lives and attempted to stop people from explaining the truth to the public. It is necessary to remind practitioners outside China to maintain a sober mind so that they won't let the evil take advantage of their kindness:

  • Don't casually give yellow Dafa T-shirts to strangers.
  • Don't tell strangers your personal information or that of other practitioners.
  • Collect information on phony practitioners, such as their photos, audio and video clips.
  • When phony practitioners attempt to disrupt Dafa activities, make sure to quickly call for help and support from local government agencies and police. If necessary, we can take legal steps to reveal and stop their crimes.
