To the best of our knowledge, our friend Mr. Zhao Ming is currently being tortured at Beijing's Daxing Labor Education Camp. Zhao Ming is a fine young man. Being firm in his beliefs and trying to stop the evil slander of our upright Teacher, Zhao Ming went to Beijing by himself to clarify the truth about Falun Gong to the Central Government. Then he was arrested, detained, and brutally tortured by police under the directive from Jiang Zemin's policies. Trying to force Mr. Zhao to write a confession, the personnel at the Camp keep beating him, often with an electric stun baton, and allow him only 2 hours of sleep a day. Zhao has been beaten to the point of becoming crippled in one leg.
It is said that the Daxing Labor Education Camp is one of the "pilot camps" for Chairman Jiang Zemin and his cohorts to test their policies to "convert" the Falun Gong elite. Police put the so-called "organizers" into this prison. The Camp uses brutal means to obtain confessions, with many Falun Gong practitioners being tortured to unconsciousness or even near death. In this way the Camp intends to reach its assigned goal of "converting" more and more Falun Gong organizers.
We hereby strongly appeal to the Labor Education Camp to immediately stop the inhumane torture of Zhao Ming and the other 70-some Falun Gong practitioners! We are suing Jiang Zemin internationally for his crimes and those of his followers in the persecution of Falun Dafa. We want to warn those who blindly follow Jiang that someday soon they will be severely punished. Stop being accomplices to these crimes!
We are now collecting the names of those who have caused the deaths of detained Falun Gong practitioners, of those who have sent practitioners to mental hospitals, and of those who have cruelly tortured practitioners. As we are doing so, we will ask the international societies to join us in condemning the brutality of Jiang and his accomplices.
Zhao's insistence on his moral beliefs inspires others in China and overseas. Some English people have joined our Falun Dafa cultivation practice because of his story. Nowadays, there is hardly anyone on this planet who would sacrifice his/her life for his or her beliefs, except a Falun Dafa practitioners.
The spirit of the Dafa practitioners' is waking up millions of people in the world. We have even heard that some police and public security personnel in China are becoming unwilling to carry out Jiang's orders to persecute Falun Gong. They are trying to avoid doing injustices to innocent practitioners.
"Drop the murderer's knife and become a righteous person!" Cherish this very last chance to make the right choice. Don't follow Jiang and fall off the deep cliff into destruction for evildoers!
We are hereby strongly demand the freedom for Zhao Ming and the 70-plus other practitioners. Set them free now! Return Zhao Ming's passport to him and let him come back to Ireland to continue his studies abroad.
As long as the Chinese authorities do not rescind the arrest warrant for our Teacher, have not freed all detained practitioners, and Jiang Zemin has not given up his policy of cracking down on Falun Gong, we shall never stop our appealing!
