Case Description:
Ms. Guan Lijun, 53, was a practitioner who worked for the Huludao City Fifth Petroleum Plant in Liaoning Province. She previously had lung cancer, but recovered after beginning Falun Dafa cultivation in 1996. She went to Beijing several times to appeal and was detained. In February 2001, she was sentenced to one year of forced labor and imprisoned at the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp. She declared that all written statements she made while in Masanjia Forced Labor Camp were null and void. She continued to study the Fa, practice the exercises, and clarify the truth. Due to the persecution, her old illness returned and she died on November 20, 2004.
