Case Description:
Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Cao Bojing was around 50 years of age and lived in the Hebei No. 1 neighborhood, Lubei District, Tangshan City, Hebei Province. She went to Beijing to appeal on behalf of Dafa in September 1999, and was abducted in November 1999 and sent to the No. 1 Detention Center in Tangshan City. Ms. Cao was hung up while in handcuffs and subjected to many tortures, including one called the death bed. The perpetrators sent her to Tangshan City Mental Hospital for over a year, and the police constantly hounded her after her release. She passed away in August 2004.
